| At lvl 5, going to lvl 6, you use either garnets for magic weapons or mithrils for physical weapons. My experience was that you needed 2 gems to go from 5 to 6, and 2 gems as well to go from 6 to 7. My lunar rod failed at that point, so I don't know the amount of gems needed past that point. |
