Ummm i had it explained to me (from a fox) that it's a combination of DA and Luck.
the way she explained it was that there were boxes or rows and that the row you got was decided from your DA. Hoever how high you get inside the row is determind by your luck.
for example:
I used DP stone 50 (increases 42-100) 2 times on the same golden mole vest.
the first time i put on luck equpment and i had 14+30 luck and 14+ 4 DA (i'm a mage) The first time i got:50.The second time I uped my DA to 14+8 and my luck down to 14+20. I got 69 so that's 19 better becuase i uped my DA.
However when I went half DA 14+16 and Luck 14+15 i used a MA stone 50 (increases 2-6) i only got +2 MA (the lowest)
