We tolerate a lot in this section to allow for some relief of the strict rule enforcement across the rest of the board. We don't complain about the pages of one-letter thread titles spelling out words in the forum lists, the repeatedly stupid and pointless replies to nonsensical threads, or the pages upon pages of spam that, read logically, would make your brain melt.
Recently, however, we have the chaos from Random spilling over into the remainder of the forums. That is going to stop - today.
Unless it's in a guild section and the guild leaders are cool with it, I don't expect to see spam, nonsense threads, or other "randomisms" in other areas of the forum. If I keep getting complaints, I will shut down the random section.
I enjoy Random as much as the next person (aside from those of you that are scared of this section, heh) and I don't want to see it go away. Be advised, however, that I will do what it takes to ensure the health of the forums as a whole.
I'm leaving this thread open; you can gripe at me all you want but it won't change the outcome should I keep getting complaints of this nature. |

Random forum will be closed for one day. If this fails to get people's attention, I will close it for a week. If that fails, it will be permanently closed.
