| Dear mom,
I know you can be a self-centered, gummy bear stealing, pyscho, but that's what makes you great. It doesn't matter if you look like an old hag, what matters is that you care-- about my dog-- who looks fabulous, by the way.
We haven't gotten along as well as I wished, but it's fine. I knew that when you handed me that empty bag of cheetohs, you were saying "You are my child, my heart would be as empty as this bag if I didn't have you."
Also, they way you accidently shoved a pencil into my hand and let it bleed... It was amazing how you stood there so calm, eating my chips. Encouraging me not to worry about all the germs entering my body.
I want to wish you a happy mother's day, and tell you that you are my rolemodel. When I'm your age, and have fourteen kids, I'll think of you, and hopefully treat my young like you have treated me.
I really love having you around to laugh with me when I trip, and paying me 5 cents everytime I spend an hour mowing the lawn.
I really love you.
~Daughter #8 In like an hour, I'm so going to read all the letters. And laugh. And laugh. And laugh. |
