Checklist for the Tourny! (Hosts: READ!)

XD So far, I've gotten our hosts down as:
Me, Ibuki, Nanayat, Danzig and Buffawoman.

Anyone else wanna come in and give it a shot? :3 We need more hosts if possible.

Anyway, I want to schedule a meeting on the weekend which will brief all of the hosts on what they should expect on these tournies from now on. This will hold for all tournies in the style that I've introduced, but the one at hand is Desert Beach. We'll meet on Sunday May 4th, at 1 PM PST (TO time) on MSN in a chat room. Does that work with everyone? We want everyone to be there.

Secondly, I've created a checklist for the tournament. We will need these things for the tournament, and I can't gather them all by myself... So, can we assign certain items to certain people to gather?

-A good supply of Card Crests
-Beginner Packs (Around 30 of each card should do? Best to be prepared):
We'll need one card of each level from 5-10 per pack. Feel free to toss suggestions on which cards, but keep in mind: It's best to choose cards that are varied in type and relatively easy to AoE.
-Some 14/2 cards to hand out as prizes to beginners.
-Grand Prize for the tournament: Any opinions on what this should be? I'm hoping to have a few place prizes, too.

Also, we need to discuss the grand prize for collecting all 7 seals. Opinions?

We also have duties to hand out.
-Tutors: We need as many as possible for the "Learn with the Pros!" section of the card game.
-Advertisers: Try to advertise as much as you can so we can gather a good turnout. We're hoping to attract mostly MT members, but anyone will do. We need ways of reaching the general public, not just individual people, so think big!
-M/C: Announce the rounds.
-Scorekeeper: Keep track of who won and who lost.
-Side-show attractions: We need someone to run the Eugene-like exchange and to enter people into the free draw.

Oh, those would be godly for high-leveled prizes. @w@ Maybe you can toss those to Ibuki for the vault? Because the lowbies would probably just NPC them. Additionally, we need to establish SOME system other than "anything from the vault lulz".

Hm... We can either AoE Torrobies, or if Nanayat will shrug off his laziness (YOU = GUNNER LION!), shoot Regents. However, the update's tomorrow, maybe we'll see a new wave of cards then? I hope it's something decently AoEable by sheep.

I know that Danzig's probably going to excel at teaching, so, yeah, I'm reserving a post for him. But I think we'll need a few tutors, just in case.

and i dont think theyre godly, but theyre worth at least 10mil each o.O

Hm, although, we need level 5-10 cards... For the freebie packs. I can't think of any tap monsters that are 5-10? XD We shouldn't give the newbies Spicies to start out with.
