Erm, about the HP cat guide: I am pure HP and think HP/AP Hybrid isnt a bad idea especially for training if you lack myshop

EDIT: btw impelling rage is NOT a good training option >_< even with 28k hp i still only 1 hit about 75% of the time >_<

It'll be a bit TM-heavy, but I'm gonna try to pull it off after I do my 3rd job change.

Just a question on tm points...
I'm an AP cat, and I just have to master Sumo Suit and Power Blow before I finish my skill build. After that, do I just save all my tm points and wait for nTreev to release a new skill? ._.

...........or do I get Galder Throw? :shock:

So won't a Venus set and a Sharon Sword do fine? Because the Venus Sword kind of sucks. The Sharon sword has better AP and you can do water attributes to it.

I'm going to assume that Galder Thrower line was a joke. -sl- Anyhow, Sumo Suit's great for physical defense and magic defense, but I'd prioritize Evolution and such if you're looking forward to it half as much as I did. That's why, in my AP cat build, I suggested Power Blow, Dodge Master, Physical Training, then High Kick and Skunk Pouch, but you could switch Skunk Pouch out with Sturdy Shield if you wished. Getting Skunk Pouch right then is more for PVP and bossing than grinding. I got Sturdy Shield, Shield All and Sumo Suit after Evolution (well, after Jazz Combo). Charm Wink is useful, but Skunk Pouch will last me 'til I have like 220 TM or something.

Actually, for the MyShop HV sets, such as the Venus set, I suggest comping HV to every slot, including the weapon and the shield. I did that with my Kooh set and I did it with my Venus set. I use a Choco Shield for my HP shield and I have some HP accessories, too, if I need them. Dice Ring 5 and Poppuri Pendant. Elements are great for Evo and I suggest using it while bossing and possibly while training, but training with Evo is highly pot intensive even if you don't use skills (only elemental physical attacks). I use less HP pots with my full HV Venus set, considering Evo halves your remaining HP when it wears off.

When training, I actually carry two swords around: the Venus Sword(50 HV) and the Mars Sword(89% Fire n_n). I use Evo first, then once it wears off, I switch to my Venus Sword and just use VK for the rest of the training period. Once I run out of pots, I go and repot. Then I use Evo again, etc. Evo takes up a lot of pots, but I train faster with it D:

Also, do you suggest Siren Song for AP cat, since the only attack skills are VK, PB, and Evolution skills? D:

I see.. But the Sharon sword gives AP+ 396 while the Venus Sword only gives AP + 208. I also need some element, so I can just compound dark attr. onto the Sharon Sword. Then the rest of the equips can all be compound into HV. Won't that be more beneficial?

And lots of pots? D:
I need to save up gold then! xD

Better for VK... but not for Evolution because it only has 208 AP.

Use Venus for grinding/non Evo and use Sharon (with elements) for Evo. I'm planning to comp water on mine when water stones come out, I think. Not sure if I wanna take my chances with whatever the 110 water compound item is. But thanks for pointing out the difference in AP there. I was going to refine my Venus Sword, but now I think I'd rather refine my Mary's Sword.

Yeah, I was thinking to get Snow Jelly (compound item for water.attr) but today I tried monster items (HV) and it's HORRIBLE LUCK! Almost all the items I got the lowest stat (HV + 3). Now I know how horrible normal items are. So it's either I use Water Attr. Crystal 80 (killing mermaid dungeon monsters [Zzz..]) or wait for Mirage Island to come out with Crystal 95. >_<;
