A question about raccoon stats...

So.. I'm a raccoon at level 35 and i'm using 4114 pure AP build...
I've always wanted to create an HV 'coon but i thought its too much work.
Someone in the game told me its good to be AP 'coon until 2nd job and then become a pure HV...
What do you guyz think? Is it good anough to leave my pure AP build for an hybrid build from 2nd job?
Thanks for helpes! enguin:

Sure, why not? Just make sure to be consistent, i.e. the amount of stat pts. you'll be adding in HV should be the same as the amount of stat pts. you added in AP.

Or, you can just use a Point Back All to redistribute all your bonus stat pts. to HV (but then, that would be expensive).

So if i used 200 pt on AP that means i need to spend only 200 on HV and then put 2:2 AP:HV ?

that's AP/HV hybrid stat .. in which .. in every lvl up .. the 4 points are distributed on to AP and HV evenly by 2 ...

that is one the considerate Stat Points that many Charm Chars. look to . .

but it's better to put into Pure AP or HV .. because they will be stronger ..[slightly?] == srry .. not professional at Hybrid ..

but it's your choice whether or not to put 2:2 into ur stat .. and like Zero said ...
when you feel like changing it .. you can buy Point Back All at Myshop with almost $20 ^T^

You can do anything you want really, there's no right or wrong way of distributing points. Basically a coon has 3 categories of skills- card skills, metamorphosis+wild nail, and impelling rage+power charging.

Card skill damage is based on AP and HV (and LK as well for Full House). Metamorphosis boosts HV, and wild nail does damage based solely on HV. Impelling rage and Power charging are AoE skills that deal damage based on your HP.

So basically, the primary stats a coon needs are AP and HV, secondary stats being HP and LK. You can distribute points depending on what kind of coon you want to be. For example, a melee coon or a coon focussing on maxing out card skill damage would go pure AP. A coon who wants to enjoy high wild nail damage would go pure HV. A coon who wants the best of both worlds could go split AP/HV. Then there are coons who want to maximise impelling+PC damage, and they go pure HP.

Bottom line is, split your points however is most comfortable to you, don't let people tell you "you have to do this" or "this build sucks" etc, etc.
