i've downloaded the game and such, been knowing melty for a while but never got the chance to get it till now :x
got a few questions!~
1) Netplay. Not sure how to set that thing up or have no knowledge how to do so, meltybread.com i know :O
2) I've seen the team 2vs2 and that wasn't included and wasn't there more characters in ver B? or was that final tune? I thought i remember seeing another neko-arc..
First you need to have the lastest version of MBAC and Netplay. Now you need to be connected by a LAN to another computer. Hamachi creates a virtual LAN to connect computers to another. The room name and password is already listed in the other pages for this forum. Now just ask someone to join a match.
Now just start up your MBcaster. Make sure you picked the right configurations (read the read-me file). Use option 9 to see if everything is set-up right. The game should pop-up which tells you that everything works otherwise it'll give you an error notice.
Option 1 is to host a game.
Option 2 is the join a game. (You need to enter the IP address)
Now you need to enter a buffer number (1-10). A lower number means there will be less lag. Now just play :P
alright thanks, it's worrying so far.. sorta laggy when i played but yeah. after that, all i need is people's IP numbers and etc. to join a room? think you can play with me on hamachi k0n? xD
Language packs are kinda optional. At the startup window, you'll see all the Japanese text as ?????, but in the game, it's mostly English. Only the dialogue (spoken and written) is in Japanese. All the menus, including the options menu is in English now.
There's a program called AppLocale, without changing your computer settings, it allows you to read a program in a certain language. In this case you can select japanese so you dont see ???????. But of course you need to be able to read japanese. bbbt:
You can double-click on someone that's online and it'll open a personal messenger. It's better arrange matches over the Vent server or MSN, rather.
Actually, the default double-clicking action is for pinging. You have to right-click someone's name and click message from the menu. Or you could go into the preferences window like I did (and Adun probably did, too) to set the double-clicking action to messaging.

2v2 and Neko-Arc are in ReAct.
Wait a minute. Neco-Arc is in Re-ACT, but 2v2 isn't. Tag matches and team battle modes weren't implamented until Act Cadenza. And I think the new Neco-Arc he was talking about was Neco-Arc Chaos.

Mmm, forgot to mention you had to adjust that setting manually first. lol
Oh yeah, I also recommend going to the messaging tab and setting chat windows to launch immediately 'cuz I never hear the sound (what sound?) when I recieve a message or notice my Hamachi icon in the system tray is flashing (talk about subtle). I missed a message from Cerno last night and didn't reply to him 'til almost an hour later and he was, apparently, long gone.

Oh yeah, I got mixed up there, lol. Neco-Arc is in ReAct but tag matches aren't. Neco-Arc isn't playable normally. And yeah, Neco-Arc Chaos is available if you beat the game once. Then just highlight Chaos and press D.

Emphisis on normally. -pets his pretty boss hax-
Edit: Ooo, I finally figured out how to enable the status settings on Hamichi. I should've done that alot sooner.
Edit 2: Whee, I just made a new video showing off Maso's Ciel (mostly his) and my Ciel when I was probably at my best with her. Oh yeah, I'm the one in white and Maso's the one in the dark red.
