QUESTION
I've read that after reaching a certain age you don't get ability points anymore and you need to pay to rebirth so you can continue to grow again. So does this mean it's kind of like its only free to a certain point? Is it like a level cap for people who don't pay?

ANSWER
Yes after the age of 25 you won't gain anymore AP points.
This is where reborning comes in ^^
You need to buy a character card to reborn your character ($6 for basic $9 for premium). So basically yes in order for you to enjoy the game fully you do have to pay a bit. How else would a great game like this make money then? No level cap for people who don't pay. For people who don't pay you get basically everything in the game. For people who do pay for services and buy character cards they get extras and bonuses to furthur aid their gameplay.

So basically its pay to play? or what ?_?

If you start out at age 10, it will take you nearly four months to reach age 25. At that point, you don't get the bonus ap from gaining your next year every Saturday, because you do not age past 25. That's the only difference, it doesn't become impossible to gain AP. It just gets slow, because the AP you gain then is from leveling up the normal way, rather than a bonus chunk every real life Saturday. So to maximize your character, yes paying for a rebirth every three or four months is the way to go. Cost of three lolboxes -.-

Had a blast playing today. Got to level 16, started out on my cooking and archery. Looking forward to someday being an elf, but ok with human for now. I'm likely not on the same server as most here. I went with Tarlach. My reasoning being:

It is the last server on the list, and with least "coolest" name. Thereby eliminating anyone who chooses their servers based on whatever they can click first, or which sounds the most bad arse. Slightly less complete morons make Pahya a happy fox. My name is Ayame, if anyone sees me around. I'll likely be the one with the cooking table on my back chasing down the nearest cow and waving an empty bottle.

Actually, you can. That's why there's titles for 30 and 40 year olds. Your look doesn't change though from age 17 (or 18?).

Also, you don't get stats from leveling up after 25, and stat gains from leveling up around 20-25 arn't good either.

Also, is it me or is the Giant Red Spider faster? I can't seem to defend/counter-attack well against it like I did in CB or Pre-OB.
