PSP vs. DS

Well..I have a DS cause I thought being able to touch the screen to play games are cool..but now I'm thinking, the PSP is pretty good too and which do you favor more and why? Also, should I get a PSP (for all you PSP fans out there, convince me why I should) :)

Hmm.. DS and PSP both are not to my taste(I don't much like handhelds).

However, between the two I would go with the PSP, and this is why.

On the PSP you have, gamewise(please note that I love Tactic games so it sorta makes me biased game wise):
Final Fantasy Tactics The War of the Lions
Jeanne d'Arc - Not only a tactical game but it also is about 'France's Greatest Hero' who just happens to be a woman. I love it when games are made about female Heroines of the past. They don't get enough attention(well other than Jeanne... she has completely surpassed just about every other female hero).
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness - A solid game, though I much prefer the above two to this one. However, I do know some people really like Disgaea.


Ughh.. I know there are many many others, but right of the top of my head these come up.

Other PSP strengths is that you can program on it and use it as an emulator for Super Nintendo, etc. Well, lets just say the PSP can do much more than merely game. Which for me is easily the most important thing. I don't just game. I do much more than that. And if I am going to spend money on something I want it to serve more than one purpose.

When there is a good game(s) to play (that I own at the moment), I'll carry a DS around.

I think of my PSP more as a Video/MP3 player that plays games, so I generally always have on me with one of my unfinished games that I to get the urge to play every once in a while.

Also remember that the PSP can act as an emulator for games you own for other older systems! I had a friend who had his entire GBA/SNES library capable of being played on the PSP. Though his library wasn't exactly large.


PSP just has more uses and versatility I like.

The DS PSP games don't fit me. I don't like turn by turn things very much so yeah. I like games like castlevania (there are some on the PSP too) and phoenix wright.

Wii system pwnz both u should get it. it touches and is like psp but better lolz.
