Q About 2nd Job Skills..

Hi

Anyone has an idea if it's true that some skills at 2nd job need more than 1 point to level? It does make sense, but my problem is which skills need more than 1 point to level up.

Thanks a lot ^_^

lvl'n a skill is always one point, to my knowledge anyways. learning a skill and mastering skills could take more than 1 point, but not lvl'n a skill

Um, some do need 2 points to level it once, some don't. I'm not an expert in second jobs, BUT I do know Sheeps do not have any 2 points per level for second job.

Only the learning/mastering requirements are different, leveling a skill from 1-10 always takes 1 point each level.

Learning a skill is the same as putting it at level 1. Once you learn a skill, it is immediately at level 1, and does not have to reach level 1 afterward. That having been said, learning a skill can cost anywhere from 1-5 TM points, depending on the skill. I don't know any skills that require more than 5 TM to learn, but the skill card of said skill will always tell you just how many TM it will cost to learn said skill.

There is only one other level in a skill that will cost more than 1 point to learn; that is master level. Mastering a skill always costs at least 2 TM points. I don't believe I've seen a skill that costs more than 3, (maybe 4) TM points to master.

Every skill you wish to gain must be learned, but only skills that have ten regular levels will have an additional level of mastery. As such, Master Level can be treated as Level 11. All levels in between 1 and 11 only cost 1 TM point per level.
