Hello to all, or as it is sometimes said, 'allo!

I'm posting here, as it was recently brought to my attention in the last week or so that the good folks of Trickster were still keeping up on me, APril and our son, Salem. On my own site, NormalityRestored dot com, I went ahead and replied to a thread that had come to my attention. But I think I probably should have responded directly here on the MyTrix Forums, which to be honest I never really posted to before. Oh, sure, I've read threads, particularly critiques and whatnot of my work on MegaloLife (which don't get me wrong, I took all comments quite seriously - being a prima donna is no way to ever improve ^__^), but I never really took the time to get involved with the community and actually, well, post.

So, as a lot of Megalo Life had to do with several of the actual real-life individuals behind the scenes for Trickster (an now Grand Chase of course), it was probably inevitable that my own life would ooze into the comic as well. Part of this, quite honestly, was at the very strong behest of the powers that be in Megalo Company (Ntreev USA), and I figured why not? Ain't got much to hide and if I can *hopefully* make it slightly amusing at least, all the better. Because of this, I was able to announce when APril and I realized that we were due to become parents in the near future as well as voice some of my thoughts on things that were going on in general.

Now, almost 4 full months after the final installment of Megalo Life was put up on the official Trickster website, I've come back to notice that there are still comments coming in. A lot of new people who are obviously confused by the comic and even more who are confused by the why's of it stopping... There's also a lot of spam, and usual internet arse-hattery, but I'm not sure that that can be avoided, and it certainly comes with the territory of putting *anything* out into the public view, especially online. So no grudges there. But as I am seeing that there is still some interest in what happened to the Gilgrim fam, and well MegaloLife etc... so here is a quick update:

Most importantly - our son was born at 16:31 PST on Sunday, April 6th, 2008. He came in a a whopping 7lbs and about 5oz, and 21" long/tall. He also has all the correct number of eyes, ears, noses, and other assorted thingies. And his toes are really long, his feet are too big for him to wear the typical bootie-jam jams. His name is Salem Ezra Grey!

Second, APril and I are still around and as new parents we're exceptionally busy. I believe APril did make an account here (probably under the name APrilhead), so if you see any posts from her, yes it really is her ^__^.

Thirdly, I am still making webcomics. I was on a small hiatus after the rather sudden cancellation of MegaloLife, and am getting back into the swing of things on my 'official' website with my good mate, Kilian. The site is called NormalityRestored, and if you're interested in such things, go ahead and check it out ^__^ if not, we'll only be crying ourselves to sleep. But please note that both Kilian and I handle the writing and it is completely unrelated to Trickster or Ntreev or even Grand Chase, and the language can certainly be a whee bit stronger (by US standards) than MegaloLife's.

Lastly, if anyone is playing Grand Chase, read the comicguide on the official site for the game and notice a player in-game with the same name as the character in the guide, yes it really is the 'true Dedivax' and please be nice to her, she's a lovely girl and my hardworking intern/PA (personal asst). I don't know how often she plays, but I think she's on there quite a bit, and please, NO, she is NOT a GM, nor does she have access to any of the mysteries or future updates, or free *anything* that you might want for the game. She's a civie, just like everyone else ^__^.

So that's about it, as I said in the beginning, I really have never posted here, or at least much, if at all, so I do apologize upfront if this is in the wrong Thread, I'm not used to using Forums that much or how they work, so cut me some slack if I'm offending some mystical, unspoken rule set.

Also, what themes are you going for with the comics on your site? Game themed comics are hit and miss, and I think your drawing style is really in its element when you do expressionist dark humor. Ever thought about doing a strip about the world seen through the eyes of an escaped lunatic? Just don't draw too much of the material from personal experience

Actually Normality was meant to be something for me and Kilian to do whatever we wanted to with - whether it's games or movies, or babies (because we're both fathers now)... ^__^ just fun. But dark is always good to me, especially dark humor.

And, yeah I noticed that I was registered since July O_O - I think this is part of my compulsive need to have my name secured everywhere ^__^
