ya, i made a guide cuz i saw that thread. It wasn't too specific and i was confused until i realize what change registry meant and thought of making a guide out of it and make it so tech nubs could understand...

I'd assume you'd just change the images within C:\Program Files\Ntreev\TricksterEng\data\UI_nori\LoadingImg_ 1280

About how many files/directories need to have their names changed, I'm finding 5?

nevermind... 2 files hidden in a subdirectory.

alt-tabbing doesn't get rid of the os-bleed through now though.

I think I might drop to a lower res than 1680x1050, seeing the chars kinda fattened grew on me.

errr... i get a "unable to initialize screen: error number (5)" message when i tried to start trickster after following all the steps...

the reccomendation that the error gave me was to update graphics driver and get directx 8.1 or higher but I already met both of these expectations...

can anyone help please =D

i followed every step, but at step 5, when i type regedit and push enter, it says
another program is using it.

I get this error when I change my setting...was trying 1390 x 960 or something like that (too large for my screen).



Well I figured out that I wasnt clicking on decimal in regedit, but now Im getting an error saying Exceptional Error, then the game closes.

Does anyone check this thread anymore?

In a somwhat related topic, to update your intro picture (the beginning picture), simply go to Ntreev\Trickster Online\UI_nori\into_img. You just have to rename the _1200's to the number you had.

I don't really get the heigh thing, how can i know if i have to fill 1680x1050 in or what ever. I don't even know if i have a 30 inch monitor or something xD

How do i know that because i tried to do the steps but it gives an error everytime and now i can't play the game anymore, and if i try to change the settings back it wont work, even if i fill 1024x768 ( the normal settings) in.

I hope i get some help =)
