Possessing a humongous 30" monitor and want the best resolution settings? Or do you own a widescreen monitor and want to have a non-stretched full screen mode?
Because i seen many threads of this on multiple forums, I've decided to write a guide so a tech blind person could understand.
First:
1. go to C:\Program Files\Ntreev\TricksterEng, or where ever your trickster folder is located.
2.
Search in this folder for
1024.
3. Now
for each of those files and folder, change the 1024 part to the
widthpixel length that you want
example: i want 1280 resolution so i change InstructionUI_
1024.nri to InstructionUI_
1280.nri
picture:
4. After your done, go to start menu and click run...
5. type in regedit and push enter.
6. go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
-go to Software
-go to Ntreev
-go to Trickster_gsp
-go to setup
7. find heightpixel and right click and select
modify
8. click the box, decimals and put in the heightpixels you want
9. repeat step 7 and 8 except now with width pixel Note: this should be the same number as step 3.
10. wola your done!
Steps to change back:
go through step 1-10 and use the original width and height value (1024x768).
Cool info from Gioff
How to make your chat box larger:
To find a decent size chat bar, you do
a= (width of monitor) * .61
1. Go into your Trickster Online\data\UI_nori\ folder and MAKE BACKUPS of ChatUI.ucf (in case you want to change them back to default).
2. Open up ChatUI.ucf in any text editor (notepad or anything else).
Change Line 1 from iViewDimX = 327 to iViewDimX = a
Change Line 27 from iStatViewDimX = 325 to iStatViewDimX = a
Change Line 30 from iStatViewMaxDimX = 325 to iStatViewMaxDimX = a
if the size is too big, just make the value smaller.
3. MAKE BACKUPS of your new ChatUI.ucf file and call them something new. When Trickster patches, it is likely that these files will get overwritten to their default values.
Having the newest login images after patches:
1. first go to C:\Trickster Online\data\UI_nori\intro_img or w/e your directory is.
2. delete the intro_base 1280(or w/e your changed resolution) and intro_load.
3. rename the intro_base 1024 and intro_load 1024 to the value of your resolution that you want (so for me intro_base 1280, etc).
My end result:
