AMEX does not work, but MasterCard does! My local Supermarket has them, so I'm not willing to try anything else cause I'm too unsure >_>.
...why do you still have that AMEX card? Tell the store owners you want to do a split payment and pay the card value with the card and the activation fee with the cash.

First look for a display,I imagine near the giftcards or checkout.If that doesnt work,THEN ask the cashier.

Thanks, Visa Vanilla was the only gift card i could find in all the pharmacies and I wasnt sure if they would work.

You could always just pick it up at the gift card rack and bring it to the cashier. :bulb: That or ask where they are.
Of course there's no age requirement ;p, these are gift cards and people do give them as gifts, regardless of age.

You can still send money orders through places like the post office and maybe use the prepaid gift cards sold at Mac's stores. That chain has many locations, so there should definitely be one near where you live.
