Apparantly, it did change o.o. Yay for nTreev and their sudden inconsistencies.

Also, staff of thunder is the third job pure sheep's aoe lightning spell (please don't tell me that its name has changed, too). I have those parts completed, but couldn't really post the update thanks to me forgetting to reserve posts. Thus, I'll just update it in one lump sum once I and finish the leveling/quest guides.

  3. If you're going witch, drip bomb is your only water spell aside from shard. It does decent damage, is a relatively accurate spell that costs little MP, and, again, only costs two points to master.
Uh, okay... That's not the point... I think it's a total waste of points, i know about the MP, that's why Boolster Balad exists, right?

I prefer to do more 500 damage and waste more MP than - 500 damage... That's all, but could be effective at training places. D:

And Witchs really don't care about Water, cause if you're going Light you gonna want fast-cast and if you going Dark, you want more power+fast cast, it's depends of everyone.

You know as well as I do that two levels of bolster ballad does almost nothing to your MP consumption rate :frown:. Also, personally, I would prefer to do more damage if it meant the difference between one-shotting and two-shotting something; if drip bomb and aqua bomb can both one-shot a fire moth/red salamander, and drip bomb costs almost 1/3 of the MP that aqua bomb does, I have no reason to use aqua bomb all the time and decrease my repotting time by that much.

Why do dark witches not care about water >.>? If you're training at Tap1 (or even Tech4), drip bomb provides an efficient way to kill fire moths in-between the slow dark spells, the 1.5 second cast AR, and the inaccurate shard. Mastering drip bomb does not in any way delay learning dark lance and dark barrier thanks to the TM requirements of those spells, and as a dark witch, getting two more levels of hellfire (not power or cast fast, BTW) that quickly is even less necessary than mastering drip bomb. Even in PvP, I still find drip bomb sometimes useful as a last resort spell against opponents with slightly higher LK than I do.

As for light witches: you have NO reason to get light arrow over drip given that it's weaker and has longer cast time than...well, drip bomb. Light Shield and Radiant Strike can be mastered pretty much on the TM level thanks to their high TM requirements, and Light Wave is a slow spell with an almost impossible to manage AoE effect. The heals are optional, so the only spell that gets delayed a bit is heaven's shield, and only by two TM levels at that. Given that, if those two TM levels matter so much, why not scrap drip bomb entirely (and perhaps electro attack as well) just to get heaven's a little earlier?

EDIT: I sounded a bit too forceful there. My apologies about that; although, in the end, all of this comes down to opinion. There's no significant benefits or harm in either choice.

No problem Rose, and ok, about the Dark Witchs, it's because most of them haves a good/hax MA so don't need it Mastered, you lose 2 TM Points for more 300 damage? D:
