I tried it just now in pvp... and apparently you can't heal the shield. I spammed Catastrophe heal and Cure, but non had any effects on the HP of the shield. The only thing that can heal the shield is itself, which is the self-HP-regen ability of it. It does heal at quite a good rate, so I guess thats a good thing.

the other method would be to recast the shield again after the cooldown is over or when the shield is near death. this would bring the shield back to full HP XD

(i dun have heaven's grace, but i doubt it'll work on the shield as well since the other 2 healing skills cant.)

Dunno. I tried hitting a light mage in PvP with arrow rush, and every single arrow in the attack ended up hitting, resulting in me almost depleting his shield with one AR.

Granted, he was lower leveled, but I'm still led that the "shield blocks all subsequent hits of AR" thing as just a rumor, and that AR will do full damage to the barrier.

They may have modified it or something... I was testing it out with my friend today and all the hits of AR hit him too >.>, I only managed to take down the shield by half though.... >.<

Oh, sorry for the confusion, but I didn't even know that that idea was even out there. xD

What I was actually referring to was the fact that the light dragon would also have light shield - a mitigating factor to losing dark barrier when switching from dark to light.

well, maybe just to summarise what i've tested out so far with shield of heaven :

(1) the shield absorbs ALL kind of attacks, including magic, gun and physical. they might appear as "blocked" on the screen, but they are absorbed and the shield's HP decreases.
(2) the shield's HP cannot be replenished through healing skills. it can however, still regenerate its HP over time or recast to get it back to full HP.
(3) once its HP is finished, the shield disappears even before the duration time is over.
(4) if the shield has xx amount of HP left, and someone hits more than xx amount of damage, the shield disappears but the user does not get any HP decrease.
(5) the amount of HP of the shield depends on the user's total MA.

i hope this clears up the idea of Shield of Heaven. pls do tell me if i missed anything or wrote something wrong.

has a 1414 mage posted their experiences with the Shield? i would think that with 4 in Charm plus the Shield, they would never die, or at least very rarely.

eh SOH is all based on Ma, although with 1414 they light mages would have high HP + DP + HV, they still need to have High LK to hit. All defense with no offense is also useless >.<

no. they are not useless. they are pure support build in Pvp/GvG XD

I really do hope that all the dragons switch over to light...heaven's has only a 30s duration as opposed to DB's 180s duration.

Of course, in a few weeks they'll all realize their mistake...but hopefully they won't be able to switch back ;o
