@k0n: you will stay teal, since you are on the staff, you will represent the staff, this goes for everyone else on the team too, no favors. However, the only alternative i can think of if you want to stay pink is to immediately resign from the staff lol...

wait wait wait so if I donated to get a pink username to show that I donated, I would have to resign from my staff position for another color? I find that ackward, warn me for off topicness if this IS offtopic (which I think it isnt since this is about modding)

I really think this issue should be discussed and not dusted over.

I think it is really wrong to not let Moderators+ to freely express the symbol that they donated while maintaining the right to moderate the forum as actual moderators >_>

but how will people recognize you are a moderator? and what level of moderator control you have? It gets confusing if some people who have a pink title are mods and some aren't. o.o

There's still the button that shows up at the bottom-left of your post format to signify you are a donor, despite not having a pink name. At least... that's what it looks like under the Chestnut skin.

Thats a good point and I thought of that, I just don't feel that it is right to handicap the extent of the package/reward/thank you someone is getting for donating.

It is sorta like giving a gift to someone for a donation, then later paying them back and taking back the gift ..

How is that unfair at all? If you're a moderator you're donating your time, among other things. Why would you ever want pink instead? :S

I don't really see the difference, unless you want your name to flash both colors or something. I would figure the donor emblem was enough.
