I thought this one just went much better with the theme. Both signatures have the cars of course but I thought this one just had much more abstract realism. The colors make it very appealing in my opinion.

Moffit
Though I enjoyed the Mario idea in Jansen's sig, this one just goes more along the lines of the theme. The flower in Jansen's sig is a bit hard to find at first glance.

AkaiNeko
Though this one wins by default anyway, I just wanted to say that I really liked this sig.

darkGreen
I think this is a very vibrant representation of both elements of the theme, though the feathers could be a bit darker to add emphasis.

Ruuka
Ruuka's sig is much more crisp and lively. The placement of the smoke is beautiful.

Kudaranai
I think this one displays the theme a bit more clearly. It is also much cleaner and easier on the eyes.

ChestersX
This one definitely has a more religious aspect. I do think the cross manipulation should have been white or a lighter shade. A very beautiful image.

Took me a minute to find the airplane (lol) but that's probably my own blindness. I think this sig is very crisp and clean, with the "upward" feeling that k0n described.

looks really pleasant to the eyes and it fits the topic so well, like most people said it has more abstractyness to it. My fav sig in this round =P

i really like the vector feel of this sig =3 and the shapes just go so well together

Akaineko
water sig, water team.... =P

Kenjii
I didn't really feel the wings part in green's sig =[ and kenjii's is just godlike (turning a picture of a pigeon into something that fits the theme of beauty.. wow)

Ruuka
This was a HARD one, I went for ruuka's because i love the smoke concept, and the grungish looks - especially behind her head.

Kudanarai
I like the depth and the futuristic look of it. The background also has a really warm feeling to it.

xKakashi
I like the light and dark thing going on in the sig, and the dragon's clothing makes it look like it could be some leader apostle o_O or something.

Kitahoshi
lol at fuzz's, the concept of kitahoshi's is awesome, the arrows, bule sky, map, airplane out of a bottle =3

good job you guys lol, all the sigs were so good i had a hard time choosing >_>

but that isn't exactly..logical. I know none of us are malicious in anyway, (I hope) but someone can basically vote for their own team.

I can just go Blue because [insert bs reason here] and add more points to my OWN team, which still benefits ME. In the end, it's just like voting for myself.

Like wise, if I vote all for the opposite team, causing my own team to lose (which isn't very smart). It's possible.
Unless I misunderstood how the scoring works, this all seems strange to me.

But, I dont know...just a thought.

I think it should be kept to participants not being able to vote. Less stress about one of your teammates giving the other team points. :frown:

A newsletter would've brought a lot more publicity to the contest. When does voting end? If not enough people vote will the competition be canceled?

I justed wanted SOMETHING in. It sucked that I couldn't think of anything.

Atleast I submitted. That was my goal. Submit SOMETHING, just like last time threw it together last minute (diff reason though) and didn't win. But I learned a little from it.

If get to the next round I'll start on it ASAP and maybe pose more of a challenge, lol.

my votes:
Anpanman: the first thing i noticed was the text and loved it immediately. and in comparison xwitch's sig feels like a stock pasted on a background only (no offense).

Jansen: the mario gave me a vector feel to it and i like the design of the flowers. the mario's white shadow is well done too.

Akaineko: good work, but the girl dont really blend into the background. and try improving on the text, they look a lil croppy.

Kenjii: cool grunge and the pigeon is nicely blended into the background. one thing though, the sig gave me a more tranquil feel to it rather than beauty. green's sig is wow too, but i fail to see wings anywhere on it and the render is over sharpened IMO. had the hardest time deciding on this duel. good work both!

Ruuka: nice borders there. the white smoke(?) is great, but coming from her mouth looks like Rainie "died". (you know comic style depicting death? :lol:) Glarbage's sig...the colour of the render dont really match the background and the smudging work feels dirty. the light source isnt clear enough also.

Kudaranai: good depth, and making those shiny thingies is really your forte eh? the design of the buiding does look futuristic and ur sig match the theme well. senpai's sig is...over contrasting.. o.o

ChesterX: both are good. chester's candle light effect is great, but your sig give me a more dark feeling rather than holy. kakashi, why did u put a ffff dragon in there D< it ruined the feel, seriously.

KitaHoshi: thats a good concept, like your text as well. fuzz, rofl.

wow in the end, 4 for water waves and 4 for fire flames. Good work everyone, cheers! :mead:

AnpanMan - I like the detail and the smoothness of the signature but I don't think covering up the windows would have been necessary.

moffit- Great choice on using the flowers, but the center of the "rays" is all pixelated.

AkaiNeko - ...

Kenjii - I like the flying feel to your signature and how the clouds go with the wings

Ruuka - In the middle I think in my opinion you added too much dots/pixels you could have let off a bit at the top, giving it a light to dark effect.

Kudaranai - I like how you did this sig, and the effect on the tower, it all flows in nicely and its simple, maybe add some more detail near the text, or the borders of the city.

ChestersX - Love how you used a bible and the surrounding picture, the white candle making it fell like a holy theme. I think it needs a little for colour, maybe on the candle flame.

KitaHoshi - First thing I noticed was the diagonal feel of the sig and the text, but the top of the spray can, could be blurred.

Overall all these signatures are great, well as they say, no ones perfect =3

heh here are my votes:

AnpanMan: the car looks amazing, great effect u made on the gas! hits all requirements perfectly :) extremly cool.

Jansen: very cool mario u made! the vector looks very cool. i see the fire flower in there too, which looks quite awsome, good work

Kenjii: i think the pigeon is a great symbol for wings and beauty. the wings look very unique, the other is nice too but i dont see wings (just feathers?) and a little bright

Ruuka: very nice borders, i really like it, very unique and stands out a lot. u did a good job on the theme XD

Kudaranai: more futuristic look to me, since it seems like it shows how NYC will look in year 2108. very nice picture.

xKakashi: with the light dragon in ther, he looks a little like jesus lol, religious enough and i like the bg :) the other one is good 2... it was hard to decide for this one.

Kitahoshi: like everyone said i like how the airplane is spraid by spray (lol??) it fits the theme better as well, w/ more photo edit in there.

good job red team :) i really liked almost all sigs from them! blue did good too. everyone is so talented XD
