MyTrickster.net Rules
Revised by ******* and sunchip to include new infractions/rules.

The following infractions are worth 1 point and expire in 10 days:
1. Shoutbox Violation: Using the shoutbox to annoy others, offend others, or violate any minor MyTrickster.net rules. This does not stop a moderator from using a ban if the infraction is severe enough.

2. Wrong Section: Posting a thread in the wrong section. Examples of this are official announcements in the "General Chat" section, questions in the "Guides" section, etc.

3. General Market Violation: Violating any of the market rules. A link to rules specific to the market can be found at the end of this section.

4. ????? !!!!!: Please do not use multiple punctuation marks in your thread topics/posts. All it does is annoy other users; one punctuation mark is sufficient to establish context.

5. Big Signature: Using a signature that stretches the forum or makes threads unreadable is not allowed.

6. Double Threads: Please do not post the same thread in the same section to increase visibility. All this serves is to clutter the forums.

7. Multiple Threads: Like #6, please do not post the same thread in multiple forums.

8. No Screen Shot: Starting a thread in the "Screenshots" section requires a screenshot in the initial post.

9. Plagiarism: Please do not copy another's guide/information/etc. without giving due credit. This includes guides from another site; the original author may PM us proof if there is confusion.

10. Repeated Post: Repeating information someone else has already posted is spam. This does not apply to the "Megalopolis" section.

11. Incomplete Title: Please use descriptive and accurate thread titles, especially in the "Questions and Answers" section.

12. Insulted Other Member(s): Insulting other MyTrickster.net members is uncalled for and only serves to start a flame war. If the insult is severe enough and a flame war has already erupted, a more severe infraction may be used.

13. Signature Rule Violation: Like "General Market Violation", this covers signature rule violations. A link to signature rules can be found at the end of this section.

14. Inappropriate Language: Language that is inappropriate but does not warrant a ban or is not sexual in nature. Discretion of "appropriate" will be left to the moderators.

15. Spamming: Posting nonsense replies or threads is spamming. This includes posting smiley spam (multiple smilies in a row). Spamming will be left to the discretion of the moderators. This does not apply to the "Random" section.

16. Avatar Violation: Using an inappropriate avatar is not allowed. Appropriate will be at the discretion of the staff.

17. All Caps: PLEASE DO NOT USE POSTS CONTAINING ALL CAPS. This is annoying and difficult to read. This infraction includes posts in which the majority of text is all caps.

18. Bumping / Necro: Replying to threads that have not been active for 2 weeks is not allowed. This does not apply to the Market section (in moderation, excessive bumping in the Market section will still be warned).

19. Double Posting: Posting two or more times in a row is spamming and is not allowed. Please use the "Edit" feature. This does not apply to the Market section (in moderation, excessive double posting will still be warned).

20. Going Off Topic: If you have something to ask a specific person about a post and it does not relate to the topic, please use the PM system. This also includes "hijacking" Market threads and random, off-topic posts that are not covered by another rule. Please pay attention to the thread topic before posting.

The following infractions are worth 2 points and expire in 10 days:
21. Disrespect of Authority: Flaming of a moderator is not allowed. Serious infractions may skip this and receive bans. Note: Disrespect of authority may also include continuing another violation after a moderator has asked you to stop.

22. Sexual Content: This board has members of all ages and some topics of discussion may not be appropriate for those ages. Note that this does not include pornographic images; these will be removed and the user banned.

23. Disputing Infractions in a Thread: If you receive an infraction and you do not agree with it, please discuss it in PM with the moderator that gave the infraction. If you are not satisfied with their response, please go up the list. If it was a moderator (teal name), you may contact a super moderator (red name). If it was a super moderator, please contact an administrator (green name). Note: This also includes disputing moderator actions, i.e. closing threads, moving threads, etc.

24. Unwanted Advertisements: Advertising websites, products, etc. is not allowed. Links to off-topic sites may be present in your signature; check the signature rules at the end of this section for more information.

The following infractions are worth more than 2 points and have variable expiration times:
25. Flaming (3 points, 10 day expiration): Flaming of any member is not tolerated in this forum. This includes posting "Rants" about MyTrickster.net members. This also includes posting Hacker, Scammer, or any other "blacklist" accusations without proof. This may be used in conjunction with "Disrespect of Authority".

26. Instigation (4 points, 1 month expiration): Attempting to start flame wars is not allowed. This includes trying to start problems without directly flaming.

27. Hacking the Arcade (5 points, 10 day expiration): Cheating in the arcade to get a higher score is not allowed.

28. Scamming/Hacks (10 points, 10 day expiration): Posting/promoting scamming or hacking is not allowed on this forum. Market scams may be covered by this infraction; however, more specific information about market scams may be found at the end of this thread.

Ban Infractions:
29. 1 Day Suspension: Suspends the user for one day; worth 10 points.

30. 1 Week Suspension: Suspends the user for one week; worth 20 points.

31. 1 Month Suspension: Suspends the user for one month; worth 30 points.

32. Permanent Ban: Never expires, the user is no longer welcome on MyTrickster.net; worth 9001 points.

Bannable Offenses:
These offenses may skip all other infractions. This list is not all-inclusive.
- Posting/promoting scamming or hacks
- Multiple accounts (PM an Administrator to have an account created for a sibling using the same IP address)
- Pornographic material
- Attacks (or attempted attacks) on MyTrickster, such as multiple forum spam, DDoS attacks, etc.

If you accumulate 4 or more infractions, a 1 Day Suspension will automatically be given. Users accumulating 10 unexpired infraction points will be given a 3 Day Suspension. Accumulation of 15 unexpired points will result in an automatic 1 Week Suspension.
