| Great guide, really helpful, thanks so much you saved me, started my second buffalo since my first was pretty much a 4114, but the bonus points went everywhere mainly in the power and charm area, and some in luck | | (Offline)

| - Removed Power Up Skill.
Sorry about that. I read that off MyTrickster's wiki and they believed that Straight Slay is English Trickster's Official Skill name. The skill that you're looking for is Lacerator.
And to all who said thanks; you're welcome. | | (Offline)

| I've got a little question about the recommended skill build: Skill Leading Build
First Job
TM LVL|SkillName |Raise Skill To
------+------------------------------------------+--------------
1 |Shockwave |Level 1
10 |Bullseye |Level 1
20 |Burning Rave |Master
28 |Pumping Heart |Level 10
39 |Shockwave |Master
47 |Shockvibe |Level 8
Second Job
51 |(Knockdown) |Passive
55 |Shockvibe |Master
64 |Bulleye |Level 10
67 |Pumping Heart |Master
69 |Bullseye |Master
85 |(Blade Force) |Master
99 |Lacerator |Master
114 |(Brandish Slay) |Master What's the reason for getting Shockvibe? I asked a friend and he agreed with me that it seems like a really sucky skill. Is there a special reason for maxing this skill or can I put those points elsewhere without losing critical things? Where should I put the points instead? | | (Offline)

| It's very useful when fighting Bosses or against Power/Fox/Charm Types in PvP; its better if they miss rather than landing a hit. Also, it's a Prerequirement for a Third Job Pure Buffalo Skill. Not only that, if you're fighting against a Gunner Type, it'll lower their Gun Damage. An alternative to Shockvibe is Luck Breaker. It's good against Magic/Fox Types.
If you don't want a debuffer, then save it for Berserk. It's great to use when you're being charged by a group of mobs in a small area. Also very useful when fighting bosses (with spawns) and in team PvP/GvG. | | (Offline)

| I don't play to ever PVP, because it's the thing I hate about RPG's the most. How useful is it against bosses exactly? Would it just save me a little chunk of potions wich could be easily replaced :S? | | (Offline)

| It will save you a lot of potions really because you'll barely get hit (depending on your level). When I was LV 60 and I used Shockvibe to Tut, I barely got hit and I killed him with just a couple of HP potions. If he summons, that's where you need help. Kill the spawns and worry about Tut later. Don't forget, the magic attacks aren't effected by Shockvibe so keep your HP up just in case. | | (Offline)

| I see... There's also no other skill that could replace it and would be more useful when bossing?
Thanks for the great help so far :] | | (Offline)

| get both. the build wise honestly is all up to you. but take note that this builds take into consideration that you would only have up to 120 TM Lvl due to 3rd Job change. but TM lvl is not capped at 120, and you can still use points after TM 120 to learn previous job skills. It's just in what order you learn your skills.
so i'd say, if you aim to hit above lvl 200, get the skills that's gonna help you level faster at the start. therefore:
Burning Rave is a MUST (2 sec cooldown with minimal MP usage = your training skill forever)
Shockwave is great when paired with 2nd job skill Faint (during the cooldown, you can spam Burning Rave and with Faint, there is a chance to stun the monster & even bosses) | | (Offline)

| Hello everyone!
First of all sorry for my bad english cause it isn't my first langage.
Ok i am a lvl 37 Buffalo 4114 with pure AP and i am really confused with skill builds. My TM lvl is 32 and i still got my 32 TM points cause i really don't want to have to restart my caracter. I've got a lot of questions about skill builds and i will try to explain my questions as the best as i can.
1. I am looking for a basic skill build (not necessary the most powerfull build) who is easy to play cause i am noob in eTO and i haven't play jTO or whatever. So i have read this guide and i want to follow the "skill leading build" but some of the skill in this build aren't exist in eTO. All the 1st job skills in the build exist in eTO but some of 2cnd job skills (knockdown, blade force, brandish slay) does not exist.
So that's my first question: will those skills come in a futur patch? And if yes, are we sure that the skills will be the same that the jTO skills?
2. From what i know, the builds of this guild are taken from the experience of jTO's players, but eTO is different than jTO and its why i don't know if the builds made for jTO are working for the eTO version. And this guide haven't be updated from a long time so is this guide still ok for the current eTO version?
3. I eared something about a 3rd job. Does that mean that a 3rd job will be relased in a futur patch of eTO (with new 2cnd job skills btw?).
So i really want to find a skill build made for eTO version, cause i think that it is stupid to follow a guide made for another version of the game who is different in many points. For example if a jTO build is make to be powerfull with jTO skills of 3rd job, and we take this build for the eTO version, maybe the 3rd job skills of eTO (and some of the 2cnd job skills) will not be the same than the jTO version, and then we have a build who don't work for eTO.
Ok this is not an insult about this guide cause he is very helpfull, but i am searching a skill build who work 100% with eTO version, and i really need the help of someone to find it!!! | | (Offline)

| basically eTO is rip off of jTO. so adding the same skills is still alright. but here's my suggestions for skills.
Shockwave
Burning Rave
Pumping Heart.
get these 3 skills first at your level with Burning Rave as your priority and Pumping Heart second. It will help you to level alot faster. | | (Offline)

Since Shockwave increases it's damage through AP, then it'll be more useful in the future. With Faint being passive, Shockwave can stun and damage an enemy leaving you a few seconds to do whatever while the enemy is stunned.
As for me, I didn't get Shockwave and Faint on my higher level character because I chose Shockvibe instead. I'm not much of a PvP or bossing character so Shockvibe is enough for me. | | (Offline)
