FAQ: Why can't I post a thread in the Guides Section?

Question: Whenever I try to post a thread in the Guides Section, it gives me a message saying "You do not have permission to access this page." What does this mean? How can I post in the section?

Answer: To prevent the large amount of people who (in the past) created threads asking a question in the Guides Section, the Admins created a group named "The Guide Authors Group". You must join this group to have the ability to post a thread in the Guides Section.

To join, go into your User CP, and click on Group Memberships under "Misc." or click the following link: Group Memberships. Once there, scroll down and find the Guide Authors group, check the Circle, and scroll down to "Join Group."

One of the group leaders must accept you before you are recognized as a member in the group. If you have waited for a long time (more than a week or so) to be accepted, feel free to Private Message one of the Group Leaders about it.

Also note: If you have a question about a specific guide, feel free to post that question in the thread. If you have a more general question, post in the Character Type forum. However, do not post a question thread in the Guides Section.
