Really, How Private are PMs?

Can Administrators view everyone's Private Messages? How about mods?

As far as I know they are limited to only viewing the title of the message, or was it they can only view who are exchanging PMs?

Anyways, answer this pls =P

Even if they were able to, I don't think they would.
At a forum I've been on in the past, the site creater himself said he doesn't look at PMs at all. If anything happened/happens, it's probably someone reported your PM.

Initially they can't be accessed from the panel, but you can always install a hack that allows you to read them (hacks as in vBulletin extension not OMG IMMA HAX UR GALDAR).

Alternatively you can do a simple SQL query and pull what you want to read from the privatemessage table.

So yes, they could, and it wouldn't take much effort to do so either. Keep your bank account info somewhere else!
