not very to good to get anything at lvl 1 since nothing is good at lvl 1 its just a waste, you can get it if you want but you wont use it anymore in higher lvl areas since the depth of the basic detect cant reach the high depth areas that actually have the good stuff, plus barely any lions get it since they have other stuff to master at 2nd job so save up ^^

Adressing these recent comments,

Power Shot is your main attack up until (I belive TM 115) you get double shot. It is also the first 2nd job skill you should get. I personaly wouldn't master it right off the bat but get it to level 10

Basic Detection is a wiaste. If you wanted it you should have been a fox.

Lol so many problems with that question... where to start...

First off all you never master lucky seven (having finished my guide or even glancing at the build section you would have noticed that). You need to keep it at lvl 5 at least for the remainder of the first job.

Secondly power shot isnt available so you could not possibly even have it let along mastering it.

Thirdly I think that you were refering to your TM level when you said level 46 so I going to assume that. Lucky seven is not even available until TM level 50.

Fourth, what you called "power shot" I believe that you meant gun booster (and not the 2nd job skill actualy entitled power shot). This needs to be maxed ASAP. You can do this by obtaining blue feathers from nephistis in the pyramid dungeon #2.

Sinned you look like you can make a suggested skill build from 1st to 2nd job, if you could you can post up a skill build that would be good to have in my 2nd job skill guide and help out some people ^^ plus have people lean towards more skill builds to choose from to start making their own

i am a 1144 legit lion and i feel it is best ur damage sucks at begining and it was hell till tm 15 as i used guns at 15 because i couldn't stand it and i never died until level 73 where i am now at vampire castle digging

Interesting Lantagonist... well this guide is somewhat biased considering that it is comming from the perspective of a 3142. For lions I would not recomend going to an "extreme build" (w00t coining a new term, basically it means any build with two 1's and two 4's). If you have gone this way results will vary.

Now for second job skills I really didnt want to make this untill second jobs actualy came out but here it goes. Remeber this is only a theoretical build and I have no practical application of it yet.

Skill/ Level/TM Points used

Power Shot (Mastered) 16
Random Shot (Mastered) 15
Lucky 7 (Level 10) 5
Quick Shot (Mastered) 16
Dark Sight (Level 5) 7

Total TM used- 59 (so I think thats 1 remaining)

Lol if I am wrong and its 11 remaining then add in Fortune Hit after dark sight to get it to level 10.

I just found out it's not worth getting sitcky foot or armor breaker. Both skills require you to walk up to melee range of the target before you can cast it. If you do that to a bunny/buffalo in pvp you'r instantly screwed.

Sticky foot should be renamed, it doesn't decrease the speed of the target.

YEah sticky foot just screws up your HV. This sucks expecially for HV cats.

hey guys, dont ignore me cose i may sound noob but.... i have 2242 lion and i have jammed on 40 level and trying to kill gomes with melee is impossible to me and i have mostly used my bonnus on acuracy (cose i whas dammn noob and listened to noob i guess >< ) but i can kill those steel turtles with my gun they die easyli but they waste my pots fast and i am almost out of money......so should i delet this char and make new one (i already made 2143 lion and it is 8 lv now) or do something else?

1144 Lion here, I had a fairly easy time going up from 1-70 with my current build. TM 52 right now, quit trickster for a month or so so I'm behind on the new equips. What good gears are out at this lvl? (Lvl 70) and where should I level? I need a fairly crowded area because soloing sucks.

Ah ok adressing both of you on this page

There is no reason why lions need a 2 in magic. There skills take up little MP and you really wont find you have any trouble with the amount of MP you have. If you have a 2143 lion then use that one all into AC.

For a level 70 lion you should have, lets see what do I have xD, Metal Gun compounded with AC, Rhythum earings compounded with AC, acceptance trunks, dou doctor 80 DP or more or you can stick with the much cheeper steel waistband, hunting cap compounded with DP.

If want a little more danger, go with mermaid hairpins or trick horns compounded with AC. :)

Im pretty sure you can learn first job skills at the second job being that compound mastery is technically a first job skill but it requires tm 70 to get and therefore you would be getting into 2nd job TM.

However this is unconfirmed but Im pretty sure.

May I suggest something for 4141s?
As you've low charm, you'll die pretty easily, so I suggest you get those kiting skills ready.
Also, at level 30, you should get the health charm/body charm you can find at phantom school(Shaman Jia) and get it compounded with DP/HP if possible that might help.
By the way, can foxes follow this? Cause I made a hybrid fox :3
