| The Complete First Job Lion Gunner Guide Builds 1144 Weak attack but excellent defence and health. If your going this route you need to add all of your bonus points into AC. 4141 Great attack but horrible defence and health. This is a horrible build but if you have picked it put some into def, some into HP, and some into AC. 2143 The best build of the bunch. Above average HP and DP and average attack. This build will help you after the 6x range the most. Add all bonus points into AC. 3142 The most common build you will find. Above average attack with moderate HP and DP. You can get by with this build as long as your good with the Hit and Run tactic. I would add all into AC for this build however you can go with some into LK as well. Leveling Levels 1-5: Level up by doing the tutorial. You really should not skip this only because you need to get the sword, sheild, and hat.
Equipment- Tutorial rewards for the hat, sheild, and sword. Disabled Person's Pouch. Levels 5-15: Good thing about these levels are these are basically part of the lion "hell levels." You get yours early game whereas most characters experience this mid to late game. Do every TM quest available to you. Desert beach feild 4 is the best for these levels.
Equipment- At level 10 your going to want to get the Wooden hat and sheild. In addition you should get a Premium belt and possibly a health amulet. Your weapon of choice... a bronze sword. The reasoning behind this is your going to be training till TM lvl 25 using basically just Stone Strike so you want equipment that boosts your DA. 15-20: We're still in the hell levels lol. The letter quests in desert beach are going to offer some decent exp as far as digging goes. If you get bored easily like me you might want to try fighting Fan Lizards at beach feild 2.
Equipment- Stick with the same accessories but now you can get a pet (Yeah!) Baby fox is probly your best bet for this. For level 20 equips you want the novice hat and sheild and your going to want to get a knife. Sensable Knife is the best if possible. 20-25: Oh your so close to the fun part of a lion lol. Right now at level 20 your TM should pretty much be within 2 of your level (if its higher then 2 above thats great the more TM the better). If you want to try Ghost Blue train off of Popeye's untill 24ish and then make your way up to Armour Squirts. if these are too much of a challenge for you, try Stalagmites and Addax's.
Equipment- No change yet but we are almost at the fun part. 25-30: I'm going to assume that you've been a good child and your TM is at level 25 (if not dig more and do some TM quests because no later then level 30 should it hit 25). Stick with the Armour Squirts or Addax's and Stalagmites till it is. Ah your finally gunna get to use a gun. Training should be substancially easier now. You can stick with your current fighting location or you can try Torpedo Fish. Popos (which are gun strong) offer a decent TM quest but it is a bit of a challenge.
Equipement- You finally get a some good stuff. Here is where we make the change from DA to AC equipment wise. Go trade in your Fox for a Rabbit pet. Get a power amulet to replace your DPP. And your going to need a gun type 2 or a power wooden gun. Basic cap is also good for you at 30. 30-40: Great we are over the first hurdle. Train on Coras in Ghost Blue till around 35ish then you can try your hand at Siremaids. Path to Oops Warf is also decent after lvl 35 or so.
Equipment- Try for a shrewed or Power classic gun at level 40. Iron Cap is also what you need. Contact lense will also help you out. At lvl 40 you should be replacing your belt with a steel health band. 40-50: Path to Oops Warf is still fairly good you can try your hand at killing th Goma's now and the Tigers should offer good exp. Here is also generally good for parties. You can also try to fight Sire Maids and Pirate Ghosts once your around the more 45 range. Avoid the Merrows because of their high attacks. Go and do the Book TM quest is Phantom School as well.
Equipement- Well I got anoyed at the lack of stuff from the lvl 25-50 range so now your in luck. Get a Brim Cap or a 2 Slot Felt Hood (compounded with DP). New pet time as well, go get yourself a Chuck-E. If you have the money then Acceptence Trunks are really good. Duo Doctor with a DP over 80 will also be very helpfull if you can get it. Gun Type 4 at lvl 50. 50-60: Here were my favorite levels. Go to Path to Caballa Relics and train up to around 55ish off the birds (there is a decent Monster Quest here in Azteca). After that you can go and do the TM quest in Phantom School hunting Maro dolls. If this is too hard train on Maries for the time being.
Equipment- Similar stuff, if you are lucky enough to find or can buy a craft beret do so and compound it with DP. Get a Odd Ren gun at 51 or stick with your Gun Type 4 (it has faster reload). At lvl 60 get a Master's Ren Gun. 60-70: Well this is about where I am at. You should stick to the school fighting Maro's till about 62. Then make your way over to the Black Swamp. Do the quest in Carbigal killing Electric Snails at Path to Black Swamp. This should get you to around 70 because you can do it 25 times and it is great experience.
Equipment- Rhythum earings finally =) you want at least 8 AC on these. Try for a 2-3 Slot Metal gun compounded with AC of course. Skill Builds
Stone Strike (Lv. 5)
Gun Carrier
Invincible Reload
Gun Booster (Mastered)
Quick Reload
Stone Strike (Lv. 10)
Armour Destructor (Lv.1)
Lucky Seven (Lv. 5)
