Shuriken Master/Precice Pitch eTO Formulas

I've noticed for a while that the jWiki formula for Shuriken Master isn't accurate but have never experimented to determine the correct formula. Well, I got tired of going to kill something only to realize that my shurikens did 3k less damage than expected using the formula. Here's what I've come up with:

jTO Formula: [(DA + Throw AP) * Magnification Ratio ] -1

Now, I had my constants: My DA, the Throw AP, and the damage inflicted. I tested this on 5 monsters with 3 different shurikens. So, here are the numbers...

DA: 303
Magnification Ratio: 33 (mastered SM)

SH1: 20 (big needle)
SH2: 60 (bone needle)
SH3: 360 (willow daggers)

Now, based on the formula, my base damage with each shuriken should be:
SH1: 10658 ... [(303+20) * 33 ] - 1
SH2: 11978 ... [(303+60) * 33 ] - 1
SH3: 21878 ... [(303+360) * 33 ] - 1

I used the following 5 monsters for testing:
Myconid: 473 DP, 81% Physical
Slithis: 747 DP, 82% Physical
Arachne: 529 DP, 111% Physical
Mud Bigfoot: 548 DP, 62% Physical
Chameleon Frog: 368 DP, 59% Physical

For those that don't know, the damage inflicted by non-elemental attacks follows this formula: (Base Damage - Monster DP) * Physical Modifier. Attribute formula is irrelevant for this experiment, shurikens are physical damage. So, based on the formulas so far, my damage should have been:

Myconid - Slithis - Arachne - Mudfoot - C.Frog

SH1: 8249 - 8127 - 11243 - 6268 - 6071
SH2: 9319 - 9209 - 12708 - 7086 - 6849
SH3: 17338 - 17327 - 23697 - 13224 - 12690

But... it was not. Here were the actual numbers:

SH1: 7769 - 7640 - 10583 - 5900 - 5721
SH2: 7876 - 7749 - 10730 - 5982 - 5799
SH3: 8678 - 8560 - 11829 - 6596 - 6383

So, using a bit of algebra, I derived the following formula based on the known constants: DA, Throw AP, Magnification Ratio, Monster DP, Monster Physical Modifer, Actual Damage Inflicted

(DA * Magnification Ratoio) + (Throw AP * (Magnification Ratio / 10 ) )

So, take the Arachne/Willow Dagger

(303 * 33) + ( 360 * 3.3 ) = 11187 Base Damage or 11830 damage after defense/physical mod. This is 1 off from the actual damage, and every formula I've used has a margin of error of 1 from the actual numbers I see. This formula checks out for ever value in that "actual damage" table. While I don't have a character with non-mastered SM to test it with, I believe this is pretty convincing. Anyone with non-mastered SM could feel free to try to prove or disprove this formula; I want to know what to expect when I throw stuff :3

To add in Precice Pitch to SM, the following formula applies on eTO:

(DA * SM Magnification Ratoio) + (Throw AP * Precice Pitch Magnification * (SM Magnification Ratio / 10 ) )

I have level 10 Precice Pitch, magnification ratio of 2.1. It checks out for all values in this table (actual recorded damages) and leads me to believe my first formula is accurate, since I used this one with a non-mastered skill.

Myconid - Slithis - Arachne - Mudfoot - C.Frog
SH1: 7828 - 7700 - 10664 - 5946 - 5764
SH2: 8053 - 7927 - 10972 - 6117 - 5928
SH3: 9737 - 9632 - 13280 - 7406 - 7154

Talk about a lot of work for nothing... I just realized raisinbun has this formula already in one of his guides >.>

Out of curiosity, while this is still fresh in your mind...

When dealing with fractional parts, did you round to the nearest or truncate?

Or, if it was within 1-2, did you call it close enough?
