Reason for coming to Caballa Island

There are a few builds for lions, i will list some of them along with their Pros&Cons

4141
+High damage
+Good digging skill
+Can carry lots of weight
-Low Mana
-Low health
-Low defense
-Low magic defense
I would not recommend this build to people without lots of money to spare for pots and also experience in shooting and then running without getting hit even once. One good crit from a monster will almost kill you if you do not have good armor at high lvls.

3142
+Good Damage

+Can carry lots of weight
+O.K. Health
+O.K. Defense
-Low mana
-Low magic defense
This is my own build and it is more balanced then 4141. You will still be doing high damage but you will also be able to take a hit or two

2143

+Good Defense
-Low mana
-Low magic defense

This build is more for beginners. You will be able to take more hits but you will lose out on damage.

1144
+Awesome Hp
+Awesome Defense

This is the build that requires the most patience. You will do low damage but you can fight things without having to do a hit and run tactic.

2.2Stat distribution

This one is easy all into AC. This will maximize your damage output. The only other stat i could possibly see someone putting points into is LK for more accuraqcy but it is not recommended.

3.2Skillpoint distribution

Need help with these, if anyone has any i could use, i'd appreciate it.

4.1LvL 1-15

Basically there are two ways to get through these lvls.

One would be drilling and the other would be Fighting. I would reccomend drilling because it is a bit slower but will reap more benefits.

DRILLING
Drill for quest items needed in your town. > Do the quests. Repeat until you are lvl 15 If you happen to run out of quests or get bored, pay rosemary 10 galders and transport to the other town to do their quests.

FIGHTING
Cora town
lvl1-7
Fight torrobies until you are lvl 4. Then you can start to fight bad furies until you are lvl 7

lvl8-11 For the first few lvls lvls you should fight tottochis. When you feel you can fight something stronger, move to bustshells.

LvL12- 15 You should train on little cora until about lvl 14, at lvl 14 you should be able to take on the cliones.

Beach town
lvl 1-7 Fight the fanta slime for a few lvls, then move onto the scorpions till lvl 7

lvl 8-11 You should fight shell traps here. If you feel up to it, you can move to Hula Octopus.

Lvl 12-15 during these lvls, you should fight the fanta fish

(These training guides are geared toward the 4141 builds since they have the lowest health. I didn't want to write more so whenever you feel like it, you can fight something stronger.)


4.2How to Train

Once you get a gun, there are some different strategies you can use to fight a monster.

HIT & RUN
THis one is pretty self-explanatory. Basically you shoot till the monster can attack you then you run off and start shooting again.

TANK STYLE
This one is for lazy people. You basically stay in one spot like a melee character and shoot whenever your reload bar is full. You need lots of pots for this one.

5.1 Choosing EQ

EQ is an essential part of your career.
ARMOR
What you want for armor is pretty obvious, the more DP the better

Weapons
For these you want AC but you can also sometimes compound different stats onto them.
When you want to do this, i would recommend either compounding AC or LK for Damage of Accuracy respectively.

Pets
The pets at lvl 20 i would recommend are the:
Bunny=Damage
Fox=Accuracy
I dont have much experience beyond these few tips here.

Well this took me about an hour to make so dont expect it to be the best. Many sections are very small. If anyone has any suggestions or corrections or just any comments they are welcome to share them with me.This guide was created after reading numerous guides about the lion. Loin is pretty cheap when you get Quick Reload. Assuming you kite well,
you will not be burning pots as fast as melee. And at 10 per shot, 3 - 5 shots
at most, very cheap character.

i had a 3142 lion and remade him into a 1144 lion because my hp was low and i wasnt enjoying the being killed. if an agro spawned near me id have to run away for a long time to avoin the other agros.i enjoy my 1144 better. did some numbers and it dont lose much damage over 3142 but gains 2x da hp def n hv ( hates def since it was a ***** to work out ). um i think 1144 can solo bosses at a high lvl due to da nice hp, def and hv. thing is 1144 is the " slow roast chicken build" takes freakin ages but the results are nice. but its a nice nice guide. ow and i dont recomend 1144 to those wid little to patience.

A 3142 benefits alot from blue penguins more though, if your life is low, getting as much defense as you can would level the field. You still need to hit and run though.

1144 needs patience but well worth it later on

the 3142 need to hit and run and use some def items and customize stuffs for def. 1144 can use an offensive pet and we dont get raped by lag. or random agros * shaks fist and mumbles hate at those damned agros*

ow and illeszt is right the 1144 is worth it much later on when you get powershot and the damage diff between 4141 and 1144 isnt so great so the diff between 1144 and 3142 would be even less. 1144 can solo bosses and take some ass whopage from mobs. 3142 effectivly having 1/2 the hp,def,hv will either need a tank, uber hp shiz, uber def shiz, no agros since they pain. maby i should post my numbers that i did. it would also help is somone will tell me what % power shot does and does it work of AC like stone strike works of DA? since stone strike is only 210% at lvl 10 btu can do like 2.8k at lvl 60.

Pet should be a Bunny till 40, then you can swith to Blue Penguin
which helps out immensly at Seabed 1.

All Lions should have a Contact Lense and a Power Amulat
Contact Lense should be compounded with 1-2 AC, depending
on your luck. So by level 20 you'll be at + 9-10 AC from
equipement and pet alone.

You can also compound DP into a Disabled Person's bag, if you
feel you need the DP to tank monsters before Invicible Reload.

Pharaoh's Fate's Quest
Desert Field 1

If you can get to Tut's room safely, the quest items
are not picked up by people who have completed it.
So it will take you roughly 5 minutes to collect enough
quest pieces that were left behind. The quest can
be done 5 times. In the 1st and 3rd turn, there is
a CHANCE to get Contact Lenses. I did it on my
Lion and got both, but when I did it on my Cat, I got
something useless.

I'm not sure about the Turn in that you get the Chance
but jsut assume you have 2 times to get it.

Ok, I just started Trickster today, and I have a level 13 Buffalo. But I want to start a lion, I was looking through the guides and I have no clue what you mean by '4141'. x.x An explanation of that would be helpful to me. D: Sorry for being stupid. >.>

4141 = 4 Power 1 Magic 4 Sense 1 Charm
4141 = High Atk Low Magic Extremly Low Defence
4141 = Potion Draining
4141 = Not Very benifiting

hey dude this is what i did with my skills. You don't have to copy but hopefully this may help you out a little bit.

For both 4141 and 3142 builds
Firstly i suggest that you might as well do the tutorial because by the end of that (it only takes what like 10 minutes) you are most likely to be at lvl 4-5 already.

Just keep training on easy monsters til u can get your lvl 10 equips. This is my skill path and its quite simple really

tm lvl 1-14 - SAVE
tm lvl 15 - acquire gun carrier
tm lvl 16-24 - SAVE
tm lvl 25 - acquire invincible reload
tm lvl 26-29 - SAVE
tm lvl 30 - Gun Booster (Note make sure that you dont increase gun booster to the point where u do not have enough mana to cast it ... like i did -_- ... if you like you can lvl to as much as ur mana can stand and then just repot every time you use it)

1) Accuracy Necklace +3 AC, +14 AP


Currently all I've found so far.

Anyways, would that replace the Accuracy Amulet or Necklace Watch?

Contact Lense ( 3 AC + 2 HV )

Neck Watch ... ( 4 AC + luck + HV )

No reason to even switch ... +5 HV + 7 AC is worth the sacrfice of 1 AC ..
