Introduction:
This guide is for all the people playing eTO, because it differs from other versions of Trickster Online in as to what maps/equipment you have access to. I will try and make this guide as extensive as possible for the current updates of eTO, and will most likely be updating it as more things are implemented to the game. I currently have a decent leveled lion, which you can see what the status of it is in my signature.

Stats:
I will not tell you which build to follow, as I do not believe in a "cookie cutter" build. I will however go over what each stat does for you as a gunner.
Power: AP (Attack Power) - This stat is for melee, although you probably have seen the AP stat for your gun, it is only the base power of your gun. Pumping this stat will not increase your gun damage, ONLY MELEE.
AC (Accuracy) - This is the stat gunners will most likely pump the majority of their bonus stats into, if not all of them, as it adds to the damage you deal with your gun. 1 point in AC is equal to ~20 damage (It is around 20 depending on whether your target has protection/weakness against guns). Other effects of this stat is you will miss less when you melee.
DX (Dexterity) - This stat is also only for melee. It is the attack speed for using weapons that are not guns. Raising this stat will not make your reload time go by any faster.
Magic: MP (Mana Points) - This stat determines how many mana points you have. It will not increase your mana regen.
MA (Magic Attack) - This stat raises your magic damage. Lions do not have any, so it is useless for gunners.
MD (Magic Defense) - This stat decreases damage you receive from magic attacks. Many monsters in-game will start casting magic. The most devastating magic attacks come from bosses. Also once PvP is implemented, you should expect to be cast upon by a mage type character.
Sense: WT (Weight) - The higher this stat is, the more you can carry. Once you reach 90% weight, you can not run anymore. Once you reach 100% weight, you can not pick up anything.
DA (-) - This stat makes your Stone Strike and Shuriken Mastery damage higher. You may or may not get Stone Strike as it is a prerequisite of Lucky 7 (Stone Strike 10, Armor Destructor 1). Also, it increases the chances of you displaying an emotion, either light bulb or squiggly, when you dig.
LK (Luck) - Luck is the stat that determines the accuracy of your gun attacks. The higher it is, the better chance you won’t miss. This also decreases the chance for the enemy to land a critical hit on you. Finally, it helps raise the chance of getting a better matured item.
Charm:
HP (Health Points) - This stat raises the amount of health points you have. If your HP reaches zero, you will die.
DP (Defense Points) - Your defense points affects how much damage you take from melee attacks. You will most likely get your majority of this stat from your equipment.
HV (-) - This stat is your dodge stat. You will have a better chance for the enemy to miss you when this is higher. Also, this acts as the “Defense Point” stat when taking damage from guns.
Builds:
There are 4 “main” builds people will choose from. All of which does not have the magic stat in them. I will post them in a form most people are familiar with: PMSC (P- Power, M- Magic, S- Sense, and C- Charm). Also, I will not say what I believe to be the best build; I won’t even say which one I followed. I like to think that people are unique and can choose for themselves. I will however list the pros and cons of each build.
1144 – This build is the “tank” build. It has a high charm growth, so your HP, DP, and HV will be higher, but your power stat will suffer, mainly your AC stat, thus causing you to do less damage than the other 3 builds I have listed.
4141 – This build is the “power-house” build. Out of all the four builds, this one will do the most damage. Be careful while hunting though, as your lack of HP, DP, HV will cause you to pump potions more often than if you choose a build with higher charm.
2143 – This build is the defensive hybrid. Your damage will be the second weakest, but your damage taken will be the second best out of the four builds.
3142 – This build is the offensive hybrid. Your damage will be the second strongest, but your damage taken will be the second worst out of the four builds.
To help choose which build you want and what stats to pump, go look over the stats section of this guide. Again, I will not tell you to choose one build over another, or to pump a specific stat. My overview of the stats should be enough to help you decide how you want to build YOUR character.
Skills:
NOTE: I give much of the credit of the information of these skills for the Japanese Wiki site, which can be found at http://trickster.xii.jp/ . Many of these charts/attack formulas come from that site, and I have placed them here just for convenience

NOTE: The following information in italics has been directly copied and pasted from the Japanese Wiki site. Since I have not experienced this skill first hand, I do not want to give out false information by interpreting it in a certain way.
Synthetic precision of growth synthesis can be raised. The possibility a better result being produced with growth synthesis becomes high.
• According to mule feeling type [sure] which it does, the person who is not with the person who is the effect being, when unskillfulness it does, after taking the chemical laboratory, one it seems that the result becomes bad.
• Actually, if it is not skill of the type which can present accurate arithmetic expression and you acquire, synthetic value becoming good, how without [ru] kana? It is the effect.
From this, excessive expectation is dangerous. If the TM point is left over, with the kind of feeling which is taken.
Leveling Areas:
The following are leveling areas I followed while leveling my gunner. You may or may not choose to follow them be it too easy/difficult to level in that area. I also recommend fighting things above your level and with a gun weakness, as it will give better percentage per hit. It may be impossible to find enemies with a gun weakness in some levels as there are many maps that are not implemented yet. I am doing this section semi-quickly so expect to see more things here in the near future.
1-20: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...er2_A41-10.jpg
You should level in the beginning areas like the Coral Fields and Beach Desert Fields. You will probably have a hard/easy time level during this time, depending on how much Power and Charm growth you chose to follow. Remember, stick to it, you will be able to use your gun when you reach TM 15!
20-35: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r2_A420-35.jpg
Alright, these level are more fun. Once I got my gun, I moved to SW forest with the bugs. You should stay way from the green bugs and just concentrate on the purple/yellow ones. You should learn to kite (hit and run), as you will be doing it pretty much forever now.
35-40: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r2_A435-40.jpg
I moved to the Mellow/Siremaid/Pirate Ghost maps for these levels. You should see that with Gun Booster, your leveling speed will increase drastically. There is a Pirate Ghost killing quest for TM exp in the Aquarius Monster Guild. It is very easy and great TM exp. Be sure to do it!
40-50: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r2_A440-50.jpg
During these levels I was at the Requi/Quiem map (Haunted Town). This should go by pretty fast as the Quiems have gun weakness. You can also go to Moss Cave, although not as recommended as it is harder to get a royal party there. Or finally you can choose to go to the Path to Oops Wharf map.
50-65: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r2_A450-65.jpg
During these levels I went to the Path to Phantom School map, with the Hallis and Gallis. You should concentrate on the Hallis in your early 50s and then work your way on to the Gallis as you get higher leveled. Remember, there is a Gallis killing quest in the Megalopolis Monster Guild. Kill 40 Gallis in 40 minutes to receive 120k Exp.
65-70: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r2_A465-70.jpg
I went to kill the Standing Lizards in the wall behind Nora Sewers. It should be easy to get a royal party as there are no monsters from 80-100 so many people are stuck to this map. You will need a Nora Doll and Crystal Coupon to get behind the wall though, so be prepared.
70-100: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...2_A470-100.jpg
You have a choice here now. I started kill Norah Bigs when I was 70, up until where I am now. I will probably be at Norah Bigs until I am 109, if there aren’t new maps out by then that is. Alternatively you can go to the abyss dungeons and kill the lizards until you are in your high 70s and then move to Norah Bigs, or you can go to abyss 5 if the Norah map is too crowded for your tastes. There are monsters in the 90s in Abyss 5.
100-1xx: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6..._A4100-1xx.jpg
I will update this part once I feel like grinding my lion again. Really there are only a few maps that have monsters that are higher leveled than Norah Bigs. So go there!

Odd- DA and LK
Shrewed- DA and LK
Craft- DA and LK
Custom- DA, LK, and AC
Master’s- DA, LK, and AC
Extra: Pets:
There are 5 pets you should be using as you level up your gunner. While there will be tons more later as MyShop is implemented, and new maps are released, gunners will only need to use 5 of the current available ones.
Baby Rabbit
- +4 AP
- +2 AC
- -1 DX
Baby Cat
- +30 HP
- +8 DP
- +2 HV
Blue Penguin
- +15 MD
- +50 DP
Chuck-E
- +28 AP
- +4 AC
Fairy Red
- +30 AP
- +3 AC
- -1 DX
- +80 HP
- +24 DP
- +3 HV
Reasons:
The reasons I suggest these pets are because they all add to your damage with guns, with the exception of the Blue Penguin and Baby Cat. You should start out using the Baby Rabbit/Cat. You should switch with these two as you start killing different monsters. When you will not kill them in 1 less shot with the rabbit, you switch to the cat. You do not aim for the most damage in this game! Be efficient, and take less damage. Now, it works vice versa too. If you need the 1 or 2 extra AC to kill them in 1 less shot, by all means use the rabbit. Now as you reach level 40, and later on 50, you can replace the Rabbit and Cat with the Blue Penguin and Chuck-E. The same deal works here as well, so switch them around accordingly. Now once you reach level 80, the Fairy Red will become available to you. Most people don’t really need to switch around at this point because of all the extra bonus stats you receive from the Fairy Red. It is up to you really, but I would suggest switching the Chuck-E/Fairy also. I always hate it when the monster I am killing has a sliver of red in their HP bar, and I have to waste my time with an extra shot. It is up to you if you want to use the Blue Penguin at this point.
Again remember, there are a lot better pets that have not yet arrived on eTO. I will update this section when they become available.
