Talking AC Lion Guide 1-100

For all you newbies out there, I will try to make this an extensive guide for you and hopefully give you a good idea of what it's like to be a lion. If you want to see game play, this is a video I made. This is also my first guide, so bear with me if there are any mistakes.

>>>Here<<<

-~-~[Who I am]~-~-

My IGN is Shirafune and I am currently a lvl 106 4141 Pure AC Lion. I am currently enjoying Trickster very much, and I hope you do too.

-~-~[Table of Contents]~-~-

1.Who I am
2.Table of Contents
3.Builds and Starting Graph
4.Gun Lion Skill Build
5.Training Areas
6.Credits

-~-~[Builds and Starting Graph]~-~-

1144 - This build starts you off at 1 Power, 1 Magic, 4 Sense, and 4 Charm. This seems to be a pretty popular build, as you die less often, seeing as you have much more HP and DP. This build will start pretty slow at first, but will pay off in the long run (if you plan on playing a long time). This build allows for insanely high HP and DP, so you can put all your extra points into AC, for the most damage you can possibly get.

4141 - This is the build I'm currently using, but seems a little hard to kill higher level monsters. This build starts you off with 4 Power (Maximize AC), 1 Magic, 4 Sense, and 1 Charm. You will have a much higher damage output than other builds for the cost of your DP and HP points. I REALLY don't recommend this for beginners, seeing this is very hard to train if you can't handle lions that well. I currently, level 106, have only 1.1k HP (No HP equips). I wouldn't also start this build off unless you are semi-funded, so that you have some HP equips when you need them for high level training. I can only top off to 4.3k HP with all my equips (HP Pendant, HP GMV).

3142 - This is similar to the 4141 build, but you have a little more DP and HP than the 4141 build. You start off with 3 Power, 1 Magic, 4 Sense, 2 Charm. I really haven't played this build at all, so I really can't expect anything from this. You should also have some hp equips, as you will also have low HP, preferably a HP GMV.

2143 - This is build is closer to the 1144 build, due to the fact that you are give up your damage for your HP and DP. This build starts you off with 2 Power, 1 Magic, 4 Sense, and 3 Charm. I would suggest, if you are a newbie to playing Trickster, you start off with this build, because this is the basic build they start you off at anyways.

LOGIC: The 1144 and 4141 are the extreme builds and therefore are for the more experience players of this game (Even though I started out with a 4141 build). For the 1144 build you would have more defense than the 2143 build and the 4141 build would have more damage than the 3142. I would go all DP and HP or all damage.

-~-~[Gun Lion Skill Build]~-~-

These aren't the exact order of the skills, but should be the ones you end with anyways.

1. lvl 10 Stone Strike
2. Gun Carrier (Passive)
3. Invincible Reload (Passive)
4. Mastered Gun Booster
5. Quick Reload (Passive)
6. Mastered Power Shot
7. Mastered Shooting Spree
8. Mastered Lucky Seven
9. lvl 1 Armour Destructor
10. Mastered Double Shot

My Recommended Order:

lvl 5 Stone Strike
Gun Carrier
Invincible Reload
Mastered Gun Booster
Quick Reload
Mastered Power Shot
Mastered Shooting Spree
lvl 10 Stone Strike
lvl 1 Armour Destructor
Mastered Lucky Seven
Mastered Double Shot

-~-~[Training Areas]~-~-

1-15 - Stick at Coral Beach maps to train. Do all the Episode 0 Chapter 1 quests for fast exp. Tip: Collect the quest items while you are training. You can buy the Ebony Gun at lvl 5, if you raised your TM to get Gun Carrier already, or find an Old Ebony Gun at lvl 5 (Lower attack compared to the regular one)

15-25 - Do all the Episode 0 Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 for fast exp as well. You can train on all different monsters at Desert Beach. I recommend the Hula Octopus (lvl 25). I DO NOT recommend to get a party as the exp will be very slow, unless you're going afk and you decide to leech. The quest items for the Episode quests will be very expensive and unless you are funded, I suggest you take your time to hunt and drill the required items. You should also get a couple of lvls drilling and hunting the items. You should additionally do the Sandman's Key Quest, as you will need the Adventure Book for later lvls, as it will be very tedious to grind all the lvls.

25-35 - Continue to grind at Desert Beach, until you hit around lvl 27 or 28, where you can head over to Path to Desert Beach and grind there. Once you hit lvl 31, head on over to the next map. You SHOULD find a party where it is a Royal or Special party with at least 1.5x+ exp rate. Also, do the Multi-Vitamin quest for about 2-3 lvls. Note: Multi-Vitamins are collected from Popos.

35-45 - If you hadn't noticed already, the next map over is the big city, Megalopolis, where it is filled with extremely large amounts of shops, making it easy to buy and find quest items. Go get your Gun Booster and master it as soon as you can because it will give your damage a really big boost. If you haven't already started, the Poppurii Dungeon quests are also a good source of exp. Once you've explored Megalopolis, pot up and go to Southwest Forest of Megalopolis to fight the monster there. Find a good party to grind there and you will notice that Gun Booster will increase your damage by a whole lot. You can decide to move on to The Path to Oops Wharf early, if you can survive, to train there, where the monsters are about lvl 70. PLEASE, ONCE YOU ARE LVL 40, YOU WILL GET A LVL 40 GIFTBOX. PLEASE DON'T OPEN IT AS YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME DOING YOUR JOB ADVANCEMENT.

45-55 - You've hit the lvl 45 mark and now are able to do the Episode 1 Chapter 1 Quests. The quests will get you to about lvl 48, where you can do the 3 quests in Episode 1 Chapter 2 to get the 3 weird pieces, getting you to lvl 49. From lvl 49, head to Gate of Caballa Relics and do the hulled mullet quest, which will hopefully jump you to lvl 50, if not continue grinding to lvl 50. Congratulations, you are now lvl 50, head to your job instructor, Azteca or Megalopolis Skill Garden, to start your Job Advancement quest. Each instructor will tell you to get a 1 Million Galder check (1,050,000 galders) and a badge corresponding to your character. Now is where your lvl 40 Giftbox will come in handy, you can sell this for 1 - 1.5 mill galders. If you have high leveled friends, ask them to help you with your badge. The badges are obtainable by killing a certain monster, the Kaboom. Kabooms are mini-bosses that are lvl 60 and are located in Caballa Relics Dungeon 4. Kabooms will always drop 2 badges, but will not always drop the badge you need the 1st time. The 1 Million Galder check is obtainable by buying it in the Megalopolis Bank for 1,050,000 galders. Head back over and advance to a whole new level. The quest will level you to lvl 51 and jump your TM lvl to about lvl 50 or 51 as well. Here you can go to Path to Oops Warf to grind or do Episode 1 Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 quests.

55-65 - Try going from Oops Warf to Phantom School and train at the first floor's toilet room. There will be lvl 6x gun weak monsters there, which are the idea training areas for you. I will not be writing any more quests here, as I am lazy, but feel free to continue the quests by using MyTrickster's quest section. You can also continue to grind at Path to Oops.

65-75 Stay at the first floor toilet room, until you out lvl the monsters. You can now head on over to Path to Black Swamp. You can go to Cabrigal's Monster Guild to start the 25 cycle Electric Snail quest. Training here will be your main priority.

75-85 Now if you're really bored of grinding here, do the Haro quest. The Haro quest is also very expensive, unless you want to hunt for them, which will be extremely hard for your lvl. Again continue grinding Path to Black Swamp.

85-95 You can head early to the Bugbear and Joker map and grind there. There is an abundance of parties at that map, but the Bugbears are troublesome, since they take low gun damage. The Jokers are fairly easy and should die after a Power Shot + Normal Hit combo attack. This is also a good map for Shooting Spree, once you got it.

95-100+ The Machine Room located at the Phantom School Annex is a good area to train. There are two monsters here, both gun weak, and at least 1 party there. This is also a relatively small map, so you can use Shooting Spree to your advantage. You could have also stayed at the Bugbear and Joker map. Congratulations, you are now lvl 100 and this is the near end of the guide. You can continue training at Tech1, Santa Bears, and eventually move on to Tech4.

A special thanks to MyTrickster for providing some of the information, such as quests and maps.

Note: This is not a video guide. It is just a video that goes with the guide.

Note: If anybody has a link to a TM Card guide, if you would please post it. I'm just too lazy to find one. >.>

Drilling is based on your DA lvl. This guide is a Gunner Lion Guide, so this isn't for drilling Lions. For drilling purposes, I recommend for Pure DA Foxes and Pure LK Foxes for compounding. Look for a fox guide, since I only have a lvl 73 fox. I hope this helped.

Well since it is no longer 3am in Australia and I'm awake now o_O. I'll give my first thoughts on your guide.

Since this is a guide for Level 1-100 ac lions, its not possible to master double shot as of yet but no harm in putting it into the skill build.

Nobody ever should go all DP or all HP as a lion. IF you wanted to go pure DP you need a HUGE amount of it to block out alot of damage. HP is understandable, but as a lion our defence is quite poor its much better to gain hp from pets and inner wear rather then pouring it as a bonus stat.

From Level 25-35 section, only get a party if your over level 31 or its a waste. Beginner party are a waste of time if you have leeches in which likely you will.

Your guide completely misses ALL Tm quests. Whether its monster quests or card quests. Add them in.

People start at around level 80 in machinery room, personally I would never recommend jokers to train on because Path to Snow Hill bug bears are annoying IF however you wanted to train Jokers. Northwest Forest of Megapolis is quite good but rather tedious as no parties ever train there.

Well thats about it, I could fine comb it again later.

I didn't mean putting DP and HP points, I meant the build you should take should be 1144 or 4141.

I will also add in the TM quests or give a link to a guide.
