All Drillers MUST READ

if you havent noticed yet... but I have, and I kinda proved it (atleast I see it that way)
but while I was digging for a rare item at this place (i wont say what and where I don't want any of you stealing my profits) I found out something.
After I cleared a huge area and went on to a different place, then came back. I noticed that the items keeped respawning in random locations (new spots appeared close to me and where I recently dug up)

so what I tried to do was clear an entire regional space (about 150x150 red circles)
then went to a different region dug up a couple items went back and found that the exact items(minus a few cuz of randomness) respawned into the region I just cleared out

so I though this would be a GREAT way to many TONS of cash FAST. So I tried it out again
except this time with PPP's at gate to Oops.

so I went to gate to oops (smallest map) and then went on the hunt for the one and only PPP in that whole region. I finally found it after a couple hours of digging (while looking I cleared a large area the span of the WHOLE right hand side of the map look a half dozen blue drills but I did it).
After I found the PPP I ran back to right side of the map where I recenlty cleared, and spammed basic detect to see if there where new red circles.. and what do you know I found a red circle where I had recently dug up. So I started to dig at that spot and... found another PPP (that makes 2 within 10 mins). Ran around again found a couple new spots dug again... and again another PPP + junk (3 withing 15 mins). Did this again found another + junk(4 within 20mins). Ran around again but didn't find one this time (must have spawned on the left side) of the screen so i gave up. and went to sell my 4 PPP's

so what I'm trying to point of is, items respawn. If you dig an item up (like monsters) it will respawn almost instantly except in a random spot.

so if u got basic detect... and ur looking for I dunno craft/custom gear in toilet 1 or something, I got some advice for you.
clear out an entire area look for your item then backtrack and try to dig it back up again

oh ya forgot to sum up my total for you (PPP sold at mego for 650k-750k I made around 1.5-2.5m for like 2 hours and 20 mins work)

I heard this somewhere, but it was someone saying it wasn't true...I just recently stopped believing it too.

If a ton of people are drilling, that increases your chances then doesn't it?

thats what I want to try
except get one person for every spot and just drill so i can test this theory and c if it's 100%

a drill party would be fun but meh
iam happy looking for PPP's and Craft/Custom stuff by myself(that way i don't have to share)

assigning little squares would work too. Even with sharing if you get your guild to do it it'll still help you.

So you cleared at area with basic det and then went to new area then you came back the area you just cleared to use basic again and get more items Showing that item dug respawn in the same region but now random spot

nirtsbro, so you were using blue drills to clear the whole right side of the map?
And it only took a couple hours?

well at any rate, I do believe you when you say items respawn only when dug up, that's what I always say myself.

If the item was truely randomly generated at the moment of it being dug up, I would net a huge amount of fishbones or whatever simply by using a brute-force/sheer-quantity style of drilling (that is drilling every cm possible with a DA fox and letting the lightbulbs or frustration bubbles do the rest).

but as it is, this isn't the case, people who move around using their basic detect fare far better than I do, especially when they go and swiss cheese the patch of land that I was about to go over.

In the case that they just happened to hit the right spot, I would come out with a higher ratio of junk to non-junk.

It is the same for me at PS.... but after a while it doesnt respawn as a red dot anymore........ (basic detect does NOT detect everything in the map....)
I dug up 6 Craft Hunting Caps in 2 hours.... and 4 Craft Hunting Caps in 2 hours on another day.....

yay ive almost 100% proven it then

whats weird is that as of right now the whole area i dug up is still cleared theres only a SMALL patch where most of the junk items are located

btw ive also dug up another 3 ppp's and gave one to my friend cuz i didn't care about the money anymore
but if it's working for u guys so well then most/all of it must be true and i got one thing to say to that...

mb the devs new about this and tried to spot it some how buy making the item type random but not the item itself
e.g. ull always dig up a hunting cap but the kind is always random?

the range of price was 600-700k
so 300k is kinda cheap
