Foxes: Guns or Melee?

I'm getting really confused on what to do with the Fox class. Everyone says that the assassin @ job 2 can attack better as a melee, but what about guns? Is it worthless to use guns because end game you'll be a better melee class or what? I was looking for someone who could explain how a melee build would work over a gun build, and maybe the pro's and con's. Thanks x_X;

I don't believe they should use guns since lions do it better with there skills at 2nd job, foxes get throwing stars, and should work on that, ive never heard them using melee however.

They get knives and throwing items, I personally think knives are better. Throwing items are too much of a hassle to make, and they aren't even that strong =/

Assassin attack (which is melee so use a knife) pwns assassin throw (throwing items)

Okay, this is what I have found out within the guideds and such. The difference between Lions and Foxes is that Lions use guns and Foxes HIDDEN weapons... I assume these are shurikens.

Other than that... I have no idea.

I never knew Foxes were like Ninjas, but I'm already an Assassin in MS, so I'm using a Gunner Lion, but Foxes aren't meant to use guns. You're supposed to use knives and daggers.

knives are like daggers, I'm thinking. You know, basic equipment available from shops.
