Lion - money problems

well i went Lvl 20 and figured out that i just waste money.... because all the tanks get the money and the monster dropps, my only chance to egt some money is digging...and that's quite annoying and mostly not worth it....well i need 10 gold for every single shot....i can't understand why the picked -up money doesn't split...i'm poor and nearly can't afford ammo, that's just bullshit....does anyone have an idea what i should do?

Same here. This bytes. I'm almost lvl 15 and I have to buy the gun. I have like so many things to buy.

I have to buy HP pots (& Maybe MP pots if I got skills?), the skills, the gun, & the ammo. O m g.

Lions aren't really a recommended first char. You should start with something easier like a powertype.

Then gain enough money then use your lion.

I don't know much about party, is there an option for sharing items/money? Or else, you don't have choice to ask him to split the money when you guys rest for HP/MP. If he don't want to then...err... find somebody else? Sense of common to share what the party gets... in my opinion.

well, i trained till lvl 20 with a sword...with a 6-men party in this cavern, that's pretty good, dig the whole time while the others fight (yea, just be a damn leecher ;P ) i found my lvl 20 gun there and u don't need mp-pots when u get the gun, theres no skill :P

i think i might dig the whole time till i have....enough money, but the costs for the ammo are a pain in the ass, every shot 10 gold...that's ridiculous for beginners...well, i think to take a sword till Lvl 30 would be the easiest way...:P

oh forgot to say, for thsoe who doesn't know, ....when u wanna start fighting with a gun in lvl 15...don't forget the skill "gun carrier" costs 7500 gold !

But I did notice that I'm pretty weak damage-wise as a 1144.. ;'(
Atleast the monsters don't rape me I guess. >_>

Anyways,you have to be a patient and thinking man if you're a lion,atleast for a long while.
Or a leecher. :P

dig for sandman quest or do monster quest, both of them give exp and money and while digging you can find some decent equips ;D

You rock man. 1144 lions are the best. You may be weak now, but it's well worth it. Actually if you just pump AC, I don't think they're weak at all. xD At around level 20, popeyed anemonies will barely hurt you if you go 1144 and have decent equipment. I think at lvl 22 they do 0 damage. You can just kill them and find bamboo swords to sell. I buy 400 bullets at a time, and go kill monsters hoping to find some equipment. If I end up not finding any, I just drill until I 3 more equipment found, sell those, and buy more bullets. 1144 lions don't really need tanks either. They could be the tanks if they wanted. If I need heals, I just heal off the stuff that popeyed anemone drops. You could also nicely ask the party leader to set looting to COM, so you can get some too.

Drilling not worth it? If you find items in drilling, you can sell them for whatever price suits you best. I made 15k Just from selling 7 items I got from drilling. Its also good TM experience too, so you can keep it equal (or close) to your normal level. And for leveling, it actually isn't that bad. Get into a good party, and don't rush when you level. I know for myself because I need to restart my Lion due to misinformation on what hitrate really is (it is AC, not AP).

You will have to drill sooner or later, and drilling in the caves is good money. You get stuff like wooden guns and bamboo swords which sells to NPC for 2k each. I dug for about half an hour and got 10k. Bullet money gonna kill you at this early stage in the game if don'tdig basically.

Drilling makes money, who says it doesn't..
Drill for quest items and sell'em.
Get EQ and sell them.
I found 2 wooden swords and 2 bronze swords in the course of 30 minutes.
mighty worth it if you ask me

Got lucky. I'm done to 150 on my beginner drill and I've found zero wooden swords.

Drill in the dark cave, there are spots that will drop good equips and 500 gelder coupons.

Drill around rocky areas in caves. When you find an area that you've gotten 2-3 items in, stick to that area it tends to drop more items where as wandering the whole map gives less to the extent that i have seen. remember that as a lion, drilling is an essential. Don't let it get to your head. Lions are worth it in the end.
