Confirm Gun Damage Stat

can someone please confirm what the gun damage stat REALLY is. 50% of people are saying ac and 50% are saying ap, what is it? please dont post unless you know for sure.

It is AP, I know for sure because when my friend increased it, his gun damage went up.

The stat is the AC second stat of Power I was doing 140 dmg a shot and I put 12 points into AC and now I do 180 a shot.

**Edit sorry, The stat AP DOes add gun damage but it is very little, that stat is geared for melee, the stat AC second in power (Accuracy) or also known as HIT rate gives more BOOST to gun damage

AC does do the majority of the damage every time you get it up one point add 20 damage(ex. If you had an AC of 3 you would do 60 more damage) The increase from uppin AP isnt nearly as powerfull

Hmm... so I am guessing that AP maybe increases our minimum damage, while AC increases our maximum damage? Or does it work a different way?

No you do the same dmg every hit no matter what unless it is a critical
