| for the people that dont know yet once you get to the lvl 90 and 100 gun the timer will be changed and you have to time EXACTLY when the damage bubble disappers or .5 secs after the bubble disappers and as the gun goes farther and farther the timed crit gets hard to do, unless you are pro and time it by the reload time which is very difficilt to do | | (Offline)

| It's best for you to stick to guns that have very similar reload times. Don't use a Gun Type 4 (1 second reload) and then use a Renaissance Gun (1.4? relaoad). You will have issues. The process becomes more of a learned behavior after a while. You'll just know when to click again.
Heck, timed crits seem to happen for me a lot accidentally. Mostly due to the fact that Gun Type 4 reloads so fast. I guess the faster you gun reloads, the more chance you might pull off one by msitake (say, if you didn't pull the trigger again as soon as you could have).
However, I'm not sure if the 1.2x really makes up for the slack in damage rate. Sure, you're guaranteed to hit this way, but being able to pelt something every second works better for me. And sometimes doing these timed crits can be hard. I was running around dodging Tut the other night and it really wasn't easy. Yes, I have the attack snap on.
Once Dark Sight is around though, well, that's a totally different story. A strong shot while Power Shot/Quick Shot is cooling is always great. Very prone to accientally doing it after Quick Shot due to two damage numbers being up there. =D

| Guys, timed crits doesn't have to do with when the damage disappears. I have now done critical shots twice based on the reload gauge. The first time, I just entered a map, and a few second later, got a critical shot. Just now, right I after I drilled, I shot a monster a few second after drilling and my reload gauge filled up. The timing is really bad though.
Timed criticals are based on your reload gauge. It's just that using the damage string helps with the timing. | | (Offline)

So basically:
TC Method= Easier but slower damage output
SPR's theory= Difficult but a fast and strong outcome | | (Offline)

| What about skill criticals?
Because I've done many Power Shot crits without any shot before it.

| Gun skills depend on LK for criticals like any other attacks. Timed Critical is only for normal shots | | (Offline)

| I had absolutely no idea what you were talking about...
All I got out of it was to click when your damage dissapears. I'm sure it was a good guide, but I didn't get it.. | | (Offline)
