1144 LK Fox. Would it seriously be worth it?

No, it's not for compounding like everyone else does. I'm just tired of seeing mages jumping around with their Arrow Rush and other magic skills killing everything in sight. Needless to say, I'm in need of a Magic killer that isn't a Lion and does not involve Mana Reflector.

Say I went Hybrid for 3rd job and got Gun skills. With all that LK, imagine the awesome accuracy I could have, because Gun skills are hard to dodge anyway. But if I went Pure, I could get around easier with Hide. (because really, who the **** uses that skill to reveal hidden Foxes in real combat?)

So I was wondering, is my cause a useless cause? I keep getting opinions that LK Foxes are only good for compounding - nothing else. All that LK is going to waste? Head for PvP and ask some (NON MYHAX'D. I swear to God...) Dragon some levels higher than you for an AR. THEN see who's laughing when it all comes up misses. x^x

at first when i created a fox i said to myself i'll go pure LK but it did not last.... when i reached lvl 12 i started putting my bonus points to DA till now....

Try a gunner fox. It'd be more worthwile to go Hybrid. But I guess you could do a 1144 Gunner LK Fox. It'd just be weird. Cujo has a 4141 LK Fox, and I believe it went Hybrid, so I'd recommend 4141.

Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: I've personally tried out both pure DA and pure LK at level 190 and I'd have to say pure DA is much better. The additional LK dosen't really seem to make a difference unless you put on all LK gear which will seriously hinder your damage and if you wanted a magic killer get a charm.

Full myshop luck gear, later on especially, will make it so there's very little difference between a DA and LK build. I'd say just take 1144 DA and deck it out with LK gear once you reach a higher level.

I don't want anything to do with Mana Reflector, nor will she be getting MyMoneyWaster anytime soon.

No, 1144 LK Gunner is completely different from 4141 Gunner.

4141 actually has slightly lower damage as 1144 pure AC.

1144 LK would be completely fail and horridly weak as a gunner.

Well, most of your DA should be coming from gear so I don't think 1144 LK fox is that bad, but you will level more slowly than DA foxes. And do less damage with explosives expert. :X

DA gear + Leveling will not be a problem. If it was, I would've never made this character in the first place.

What made me want to make this is seeing a Non MyMoneyWaster'd LK Fox in PvP. Although I could OHKO it, I would miss it 80% of the time. She was about 40 levels lower than me. x.x;

1144 LK fox are good for going pure...
and about the anti-mage? u only have defense on them not offense...-_-

1144 LK makes a great tank, yeah, but unless you can get people to walk into your bombs (and then actually have the AC to hit with them), you're probably not going to kill anyone. You'll be plagued by strings of misses Dx so get some AC gear for your fox before you PvP (or even PvM).

Foxes are more of a Magic/Gun tank than a fighter. There's no way you will ever get around a Dark Dragon's/Hybrid Sheep's Dark Barrier.

If you want an anti-mage, make a Lion or a Charm type. I always see them annihilate Magic types far better than my fox ever will.

1) Sticky magey.

2) Place mine.

3) Hide + Sneak Attack.

4) Pray you have enough HP to survive your own attacks, which should both hit at the same time if you time your SA right.
