Questions on LK/DA and changing my build

Well i am a 7X pure DA fox. i have enjoyed this build up to now for quite some time.

But here is my dillema. i have finished lucky seven and soon will be working on aura of luck, afterwards getting landmine then eventually explosives etc ...

Now i am a firm believer in listening to the advice of your elders. should i go hybrid on my stats and start raising some luck instead of DA to help bolster the damage of mine/explo or should i just continue on the pure DA build and just get really good LK equips when the time comes for that?

DA is incorporated into mine/explo and explosives is more DA oriented so you don't have to go hybrid.

I still do not see the point of getting Aura of Luck for a DA build.
IMO the +18% LK is only worth the skill points for a LK build.

Lucky 7 is more than enough for a DA build......even with Landmine.
The obvious exception would be lv 10 Aura of Luck to get Hide.
And that's only IF you really want Hide.....

Do what you want though, it's your fox.

Aura of Luck is good for either Fox build because there really aren't any other really good skills that a fox needs at that time. And I'd just go ahead and stick with a DA build. Land Mine and Sudden Attack may be more LK based, but neither of those are amazingly useful outside of bossing/GvG/PvP. Explosives Expert on the other hand, is based twice as much on DA as LK and it has a short cooldown, making it a fairly good leveling tool

Well you always bring up good points Nega and i agree with you on the aura of luck thing, but as kisher said, there really is not much else for me to choose from as a fox and the idea of hide dose seem like a fun skill.

Besides about the only thing else i could get other than aura would maybe be that power pitch skill which has already been proven to be sub-par at best.

I will just stick with full DA then since it seems to be more applicable in what i want out of my fox. i appreciate the advice.
