EDIT: I am now level 51, with about 800 hp >___>;; The double crit is fantastic, and I have AP equipment on except for my health seal and duo doctor. I am worried about my HP, since I can't afford a GMV as of now, since I spent all my money on the sword and shield. I am currently trying to sell my other character's items. Is there another way to get by without a GMV? If so, please don't tell me to lose the lion shield T___T~

Once I get the level up boxs, I can probably afford a GMV, with cruddy hp. (At least 1k)
As for mastering skills, lucky 7 has the guiana cards.. or whatever and they are impossible to find! I've been killing them for about 2 hours now and nothing cept coffee beans >.>;

Another question, with L7, I have 25+14 luk, which seems pretty good to my standards, yet I still get critted and hit a lot at path to black swamp. When will my LUK be sufficient to withstand hits, and take more blocks?

To answer questions one at a time :-)
1) For HP, you really do want to get a GMV, just get a crappy one since unless you plan on bossing (which..isn't advised until much later) you arn't gonna get 1shoted by the things you kill. As of right now buying from people is the only way to get them.
2)I tried to get the cards myself and ended up just buying them. 200k each I think, I can get way more money leveling or bossing then the time it takes to find the cards.
3)Without myshop your luck will be at a slight disadtantage (I have a 22 LK Swirly glasses) I'm 90 and hunt Tut pretty much every time I'm on since i'm saving up for a 6+ golden sword. I'm there and hit the 90% weight before I run out of 150 Pink Cs (usually end up using half) and I tank the whole time. Yea he's lower level, but he's still a boss and hits fast I just happen to block most of the time. Since I havn't trained since I hit 90 I can't answer what LK you need to be able to block what I train on, but at 70~ I was fighting arachnes and didn't get hit very often, and if I did it was usually because it was a crit.

4) Also, on one of your earlier posts you commented on not having a DX hat from 50-100. This is not true :-) All Custom Physical hats have DX slotable. I'd still have an AP since if you can 1shot what you train on you don't need DX. (something like a 3-4 HV Ult Basic cap with 65 AP stones slotted) But once you get to 70+ use a 3s Custom with dx slotted.

I aplaud you at making a 4141 Fox without being very funded AND no myshop. It's no walk in the park. Later on if you ever get a good amount of galders I'd try my best at buying black elixers to get the min dx up on the compounds since for some (dumb) reason 2 is the min from 70 all the way to 190 and this makes it at least 3 per slot.

Well, at higher levels, it'd be wise to comp DX instead of AP?

I have the level 60 small odinea sword, with 172 ap, and three slots for water attri. I was thinking of comping it and using it, but I have the +3 golden sword with 252 ap and 131 soil.

I'm level 71 now and training is going alright. My luck isn't fairly high since my equips only add a total of 5 luk =X my damage is really high though, with double crits of 2-4k in total.

Where would be a good place to train at 70-90? I know your myshoped, but I'm making loads of money now selling off my stuff, so I might be able to take it. I have 1.6k hp, and I'm considering of getting a better shield.

Would it benifit to have ap or dx? DX for speed, and really fast crits, while ap can do more damage. Or is it a matter of speed vs power?


Edit: In addition to your godly compounded items, could you tell me your range of double crits when training on a specific monster? Also, how much added AP and LUK, as well as DX you have, to see how far away I am from a myshopped mele fox.
This would help me greatfully to see where I should pump up in order to maximize what I want.

Maybe you should consider dropping some of the AP for some LK. You already have a shield that adds min of ~40% to dark, not to mention you sword that adds 131% soil, your damage should be crazy enough. You could throw on a LK accessory or even an HP accessory if you worried about your hp.

At level 60, you can get more LK and HP by getting a Guardian Seal and comping them with HP. Even a min on 2 shells gives 648 HP and the natural 8 LK(more if you comp it for LK but you'll lose out on the HP). Plus, it gives -1 DX too and the fend off ghost quests is not too hard and gives good exp for lvl 60s.

Well, I sold off my lion shield for a HP shield since I couldn't live off 600 hp. I am now considering comping the guardian seal with HP, but I am kinda on the middle of the fence since I want to comp HP on the seal, and switch my shield for a lion shield so I can maximize more damage. It'd be safer to have both the shield and seal with HP in order to keep my survival rate at a high, right?

Does anyone know where to train from 70-85? I will be doing the tango quest to boost me up to 90, so just kinda confused here.

Have you finished snails? If you do then theres the Farmer's haros quest, wolf boys stone of the sun quest, aposis quest or just grind at snails some more or even arachnes if you can handle them.

Well, I have finished the snail quest. I have tried arachne's a little bit, and so far they miss a bit when I fight them. The only turndown is their crits of 500-1k =\

If I can block Kaboom's attack about 95%, would I be able to fight tut with no problem?

You should do ok fighting Tut as you can block nicely. But just in case, bring lots of pots and carefull to not get rusted.

This brings me to my next point. There is a dice 2? that has 68 ap, -3 dx (comped on) and 6 luk, should I use that instead of my 202 ap golden ani. neckalace? Though it has more ap, it doesn't have dx, which is the purpose of a mele fox. Should I get it or not?

If you can OHKO what you are fighting, then the added(or minused lol) DX is really not going to help. So you could go either way but I prefer the dice more.

The current highest level fox is a 4141 melee fox.
He's able to train faster than me due to melee OHKO while I still struggle to combo with SM/SS.

But an elemental comped pharaoh sword and shield (and possibly a light comped 1.5x bracer) can go a long way~
Heck, I kill red salamanders in 3 attacks as a 1144 fox, with mediocre AP gear, a 45% pharaoh shield and a 67% lv8 (I think. Dx) Dragon Blade.

If I had to take a guess, any high % weapon (90+ or something, like that dragon sword), A high % Golden Lion Shield and a High % Ultima Bracer.

That goes to show how much of an impact nice equip can do, something the common unlucky person will never acheive on a normal basis.

Umm no, actually it shows how easy it is, lol, if even a 1144 fox can 3-hit with mediocre gear, imagine what a 4141 fox can do.
The only good thing I use is the dragon blade. But for a 4 power fox, a pharaoh sword (120% min with soil stones) might even be more effective because they already have more base AP. ESPECIALLY if they also add points to AP.
