But yeah, my point is, 4141 melee is a viable option for a fox at higher levels. Leveling can even be easier than when you level using DA gear.

Kinda cool, I guess... but spending money into trying to get a good sword can get quite expensive for the poorer people...

That is true.. -scratches head- I'm only doing 1.5-3k crits on jokers and I have about 850+ -ish ap. I kinda sacrificed most of my ap for dx until level 90 where I can use my bastet. I'm currently level 88, and the whole leveling thing is really unmotivational x.x

It's funny whenever I meet players with a 4141 melee fox. I ask them " so is this your 1st fox? ". And lately like 90% of them say " yes ".

Sorry about not responding sooner, been busy.
I think around 25-30 DX is all you need, I havn't gotten higher yet but I attack damn fast and as I level I can replace the smaller dx items (cape specificly) with AP/HP nyxx. Right now my dx comes from Helm (-10) Shield (-9) cape (-5) pet (-2) and evil horns (-2). Kinda answering multiple questions in this part, but I think a split compound (not stats) for DX/AP is good. Even if you can OHKO, if you have more DX it seems as though when you target another monster you still "attack" faster then without DX. I can't say for certain though, as I havn't trained for a while on my fox. (been at tuts for like 2 weeks getting monies)

The level 60 sword is much worse then the Golden sword because of stones and the 4th slot. A lot of our damage comes from Elem Attribute, and if they ever release more items that can be slotted as such (like cape, innerwear, etc) it makes us that much more powerful. If we ever get the Count Blood set...all I can say is that sword is made of win lol.

About you using an HP Golden Lion - O.o
I'd really recommend getting an hp GMV, this can allow you the dark lion or dx north wind if you choose to buy it. As an aside, the only problem with buying myshop is that to get the most out of it you also need black elixers to get the min dx 2 comp to 3.

As for Tut, he's easy for me, and as long as you're not past 90 yet I'd go kill him for fun. His crit's don't do much higher then 1100ish. Also, Tuts Rust is worthless, it takes off like 150 AP or so? Nothing to worry about.

In regards to dice 2, I use it while my sprint is expired and I can't find a 40 box, this is generally never though so I can't really say it's worth using. Especially not in exghange for a 140 AP difference.

For your damage question I logged on real quick to kill a couple things, the damage is usually a 500-1k point varient based on what type of crit I do.
This is also with 1577 AP and 97% Air attribute. Also, if I had a decently refined Golden Lion, I'd do more as the fourth slot is much better then North Wind sword's three.

Roasters - 2.5k (air resist)

We are Magic/Element AND physical. The more Elem Attribute you have the more you'll want to train on magic weak monsters. But we can also train on Physical Weak monsters just the same. This makes our training range rather large, and we can even have (later on) Different swords with attributes based on where we plan on fighting, like something water comped for fire moths etc.

Stat wise I'm pure LK, no points elsewhere
My AP changes every time my sprint expires but its usually around +145
AP 1654~
AC 124 (144 with GB)
DX -26
LK 78 (134 with L7, AoL, and 1st Anniv)

Well, are you saying that even if I have ap things on instead of dx, I seem to attack faster? I have -7 dx right now (shame) and it seems to attack really slow for some odd reason.

Well, I probably will eventually find a trustworthy friend who will let me buy myshop off them, hopefully.

I can't afford a GMV as of now, so I'm stuck with what I have until I can make it work =\

I still have my 178 ap hat, should I use that instead of the dx hat? I still hit pretty fast though compared to the -3dx.

Um, as for my golden sword, what would you reccomend to get after my sword gets a bit weaker at a higher level? (non myshopped) It's 252 ap, with 131 soil, so the if I were to calculate it, it'd have over about 600ap. Should I wait for a level 140 sword or something of that type until I can switch weapons? Or should I just keep trying to refine it though I'm afraid it will break and I can't get repairs x.x;

Can you suggest anything where I should work on, on my stats? (well ap and dx is a big problem I should fix.)

I guess I worded what I said wrong, by more dx I mean more -dx stuff equipped. And at -7 it is slow, like I said you want to shoot for -25-30 for a very nice speed.

Does this mean you only have -3dx normally and -7 with the hat? Like I said before I applaud you at making a fox like this without easy access to myshop. You should work on getting a 3s custom hat for at least the -6 dx. They shouldn't be too expensive just look for a 70-90 one and use that for a long while till maybe 150 and then try your luck at the higher dx compounds. or if you can get black elixers somehow, as I said before they help very much.

The soil is added to your TOTAL ap, not just the swords. This is why the golden sword is soooo good. Even if its a low AP, if you make up the AP elsewhere the % attribute majorly makes up for it. I wouldn't bother trying to refine any more, and I also wouldn't recommend trying to get another golden sword to refine that because you NEED A GMV lol, save your money for that. You can get a crappy 1k one for 15m if you look hard enough.

LK should be fine, Obviously AP and DX are both pretty low (or high..dx references can be confusing) compared to mine. You're missing the Evil Horns which give me a mid 300 AP boost and I'm unsure of what your second accessory is. I'm guessing the dice ring? Since your DX is kinda eh right now i'd suggest actually using the dice ring. If you don't use that now let me know what your second accessory is so I can give better suggestions.

Like I said earlier, most likely the golden sword will outlive most other swords because of that fourth slot. Even a quick easy example of this, lets say you have a Level 3, 3slot custom Claymore (441 AP I believe is correct) Now we'll give your 3 comps decent 100% total for earth attribute. You have 890 AP and your golden sword is 252. So add 189 AP to your total (the difference) for 1079 AP for a total of 2158 with the attribute. Or we just add the soil attrib you have now (131) by 890 and get 2055. Now it looks less in the example but the Claymore is level 190 and the more AP you get the more the golden sword will rule over the claymore. If you had 2k AP, the claymore would be 4k, while the golden sword would be 4620. So really, the only thing you should be looking for is a 4s sword better then golden (IE a 4s custom for Light or Soil) or if you ever get nate bottles to re-soil stone the lowest slot on your golden.

Well, it's really hard to find dx compable stuff now since ults are the most common equipment. Well, I have -10 dx equips, it's just since I have 3 base dx it makes it -7.

It's also pretty hard to find a seller with a 2-3s level 90 hat because people don't usually drill for items that often as they used to.

Edit: My second acessory is a guardian seal -1dx, 8 luk and 1056 hp.
My dice 6 is 68 ap, -3dx and 6 luk.
My hat is -4dx
My bastet has -2dx
I'm using a duo doctor >_>; and a 9xx hp shield.

Do you really need both the Seal and the HP shield? I'd replace the shield with a Darkness Golden lion unless what you train on kills you fast-like.

As for the helm, make a topic in the helm market here looking for a 3s custom level 70+, I'm sure you'll get one.

swiftmage, i'm from fantasia so i won't have access to any GMVs. i was thinking of replacing the shield with choco shield. also is it advisable to replace the golden sword w/ lvl 90 myshop(rocker set) .. someone gave it to me as a christmas present. Is sprint really that essential ? cause ill have a hard time paying 1mil per day for it :frown:

im a lvl 142 4141 ac fox @_@
the only dx equipment i have is the swirly myshop glasses.
so i have a total of -3 dx ... yet.. i've run into a cat who sees my attacks as a hack. i tell her its just double crits and she thinks she sees 3.
(training at Tap1 4-5 hits.. what? its great tm for me)

lk shield, hp pend, ap gold anniv, ap helm, lvl8 golden sword, hv/lk/hp pet(maid ex), ac horns, _ swirly glasses.. i forget.]
