Is precise pitch worth mastering as a pure DA SM fox? I plan to sometime in the future get lucky 7 and sticky icky, just wondering if I'm screwing myself over tm points wise.

I think the general consensus is that if you use higher AP throwing weapons (thorny ring and up), it's probably worth it to master precise pitch...

HOWEVER, I think the damage increase is costly in terms of TM pts, so people delay it till higher levels.

PP actually boosts the damage ONLY if you have a high AP throwing weapon. It increases te damage from the weapon but not from the skill itself. So if you don't compound your own throwing weapon, you shouldnt really bother with it much. It would be out of topic too if you're using Big Needles, Bone Needles or Fire Needles. Their AP are too low for PP to be efficient.

If you have TM points to spare after getting every other skill you want, sure. IMO, though, it's a waste. Harvesting compound items to upgrade enough high-level throwing items for regular use is just too tedious.

I think with newer content eventually even higher level throwable items will be buyable and if the "AR-like" shuriken skill gets a bonus from precise pitch I can see it being useful to get. Although, until then it seems kinda meh until you're higher level and can use the higher level throwing items.

I think ive read that the Shuriken flurry skill have Precise Pitch as a prerequisite.
