| Keen Sense or Shooting Spree? Hi, I'm a 3142 Lion and I was wondering which one to pick: Shooting Spree or Keen Sense? I was going towards Keen Sense until I read that it only works with normal gun shots, not Power Shot and stuff. Plus I sorta want a mob skill =.=
Please give me a detailed explanation about Keen Sense! | | (Offline)

but get shooting spree first to lvl up faster | Considering the thread starter wants a mob skill, Keen is TOTALLY worthless here. How often do you actually stop to time crits on a monster while you train? More than likely, not often, unless youre just there to bs (Like I sometimes go to Tap1 to landmine Red Salamanders just for the hell of it >_>)
Seriously, I regret ever getting Keen, I want that shit out of my skill list ._. | | (Offline)

| Actually, keen sense could be useful. Kinda. Maybe. I recall a sort of technique that involved de-equipping and re-equipping your gun, and if you time it correctly, the shot would be a crit. And if you can repeat it at a very fast rate, it could work...sorta. Ish, I dunno, it requires a lot of practice to pull it off. Heck, I don't even know how to make the 1st shot a crit, I did it once by accident, and that's all, I could never figure out how to replicate it.
But meh. I dislike both skills rofl. Spree can get a lion killed if he doesn't OHKO everything he hits (mostly for a 4141, but yeah). I mean, for a guy who can't use a shield, mobbing isn't exactly a safe thing to do ._. And keen sense is pretty much useless if you don't learn how to utilize that technique =x

| Shooting spree > keen sense....gun reload time isn't that fast either.
Keen sense fails unless you mastered time crits and can do it at will and not by accident ._. | | (Offline)

Not really an ideal technique to use while training.
@DemonSpree, my lion is hybrid. But I got Keen not long after it came out. Its total crap, I have much more useful things Id rather have my tm spent on, like Gas Mask ._. | | (Offline)

| Yeah, it's really more of a PVP technique that I can't do. Which is why I never bothered with keen sense =x

| I made the mistake of waisting my points on Keen Sense, also.
Good thing I had to Myshop points to get that crap out of my list.
To OP, just get Shooting Spree, and don't look back. | | (Offline)

Seriously, I regret ever getting Keen, I want that shit out of my skill list ._. | It really depends on how well you time crit. I was training with a booster at tech 4, if you can keen sense + time crit a monster in one shot its pretty good. Its consistent too, you shoot, wait and then crit, then you carry on that crit to another monster. Really, its good if theres a chain of monster. I do advice getting shooting spree first. | | (Offline)

| The majority of lions that train at tech4 dont need it ._. Its just not a real practical skill to use in the midst of training. Some people may find it useful, but overall, its just a skill to get when you have nothing else to get. | | (Offline)

| Before double shot came out, I alternated power shot with keen sensed timed criticals to grind at tech1 (that oughta teach those dark dragons for hell firing our kilmanjaros!)
But now it's a different story, the only use for keen sense is bolstering timed criticals which never miss.
