DA fox any good at Comping

Is a DA fox any good at comping. Like with Aura of Luck and Lucky seven?

Atm no one class is good at comping regardless of the amount of luck.

Both pure DA and pure LK builds work well for a fox.
Each build has it's advantages, but both are still reliable characters to play.
I know, I've played them both for a long time. I enjoy the class.


A pure LK fox is not difficult to level because it still has a natural 4 Sense, which means decent DA growth. The majority of your fox's DA comes from DA comped equips + Sixth Sense anyway. So even putting all bonus points into another stat like LK, your fox will still deal good enough damage with DA-based attacks.


However making a pure LK fox specifically for mature compounding is no longer a worthwhile investment. IMO it's a waste of time. The mature compounding system has been changed so a pure LK build has a much less dramatic effect on compounding results. A pure LK build will not give you those godly comps like it used to. I'm surprised Ntreev allowed them to in the beginning (it's not good for business....).

The real benefits of a pure LK fox to look forward to is using LK itself in combat. In exchange for less DA skill damage, you get higher blockrate, magic evasion, critical rate and lower chance of being nailed by criticals yourself. A 1144 pure LK fox can be bomb-tossing tank in PvP and bossing, combining high Charm with high LK. While a 4141 pure LK fox is a critical melee machine that can also make decent use of guns. Although keep in mind a pure LK build requires more funding and effort than a DA build. A pure DA fox is still the easiest and fastest route.

Any class can comp good. depending on ur LK gear. my freind a raccoon comped 3265 HP choco shield. He had some serious myshop LK gear tho. and had aura of luck from another friend

Don't forget that foxes also get the benefit of better Land Mine damage than pure DA foxes! >.> LK foxes tend to do a little better in PvP/GvG, while DA foxes tend to be better for PvM.

I have a pure DA fox, and I haven't had a terrible time comping... I don't get many godly comps, but most of them are above min and in a fairly avg->above avg. range.
