Better late-level Lion build?

Okay I've been working a lot of numbers, and attempting to find out what's better, 2143 or 1144. I've read quite a few guides in the Sense Type Guides section, and I've found little help. :S

For the most part, it seems that I should swap my build out to 1144 (I'm currently 2143), since not only HP, but DP and HV will be severely important later on.

I was originally interested in 4141, and going ahead to be a glass cannon, but I played my friends Lion that's about 20 lvls ahead of me (93), and he has the HP that I had at lvl 3x/4x, it's pathetic. I won't want to deal with that.

I already know what I'll be using at lvl 130, so I'll go ahead and list it off by what I'll be using, and hope that feedback can be given on whether or not they'd be worth it, etc.

2143 - Lvl 130
AC 203
HP 5760
DP 524
HV 46
(Base Atk dmg 3436)

1144 - Lvl 130
AC 195 (Wtf lol almost no change? D=)
HP 6750
DP 656
HV 54
(Base Atk dmg 3276)

I might not know exactly how HV is supposed to work (I'm seriously not getting it, but a lot of guides say it's very important later on >.o), but I figure that if I go specifically for AC, and nothing for HP I should be fine. These numbers are with uncomp'd Mars(Pet/Helm), Mercury(Helm), Topaz Guardian(Min comp), Ultima Bracer.

According to these numbers, I'd gain 990 HP (Easily covered by 2 min comps, or 1 medium one), but I'd lose 8 AC which again, is covered by 2 min comps, or 1 Middle one.

Would the HP gain be worth it? I really don't want to have to worry about comping 2 things, so I'm unsure. It seems that going 1144 is the best option, since I also get DP and HV, which would take more than those 2 min comps. It would take 2 decent ones to have enough HP to count as that DP, and you can't exactly cover HV with HP.

Suggestions? >.> I'll buy a growth change if it's a good idea, if not, I'll just stay as is and waste it on something else >.<;

1144 is superior if you ask me. The minimal AC boost that 2143 provides is not worth missing out on the almost 1k more HP, and the 9 HV is a nice bonus too. And if you plan on doing PvP/GvG you're going to need more than just AC gear. I advise you get a set of LK and HP gear for PvP/GvG as well. AC gear is fine for PvM though!

Hmm I don't plan on PvP/GvG much, if at all. I'll keep that in mind though, thanks.

Any other thoughts about the difference, anyone? :3

If you don't plan on pvp/gvg much, then don't even worry about hp/lk. Unless you wanna go adventure at some high lvl place like ID3 during low lvls, your hp is sufficient. When pvm-ing, the best scenario is be able to OHKO monsters before they even start walking towards you. So high AC would be your best bet.

Side Note: Some people go 4141, 3142, or 2143 for fast monster killing till 200 or so, then switch to the survival 1144 build for pvp/gvging.

Won't I need a decent amount of HP to survive areas a bit earlier though? The good spots that is. >_>

I mean I have enough to also be able to go 4141/3142 until a decent level, and then switch to 1144, but would it be worth it? :S When I'm training at close-to-town areas I don't care as much, but walking back to an area is annoying. o_o;

Survivability depends on several factors. First there is map. Lions usually go to machine room after path2swamp, then SF3/Tech1/Tech4, and maybe ID3 eventually. I would say machine room might be the harder to survive at the beginning due to the cluster. SF3 and Tech1/Tech4 is better because you have distance and time before a monster reaches you. Another factor is equipment. Are you well funded? Do you use myshop? Do you have a GMV? From my own experiences, getting a GMV early and having myshop really helped with AC and HP. I had trouble staying alive at machine room, but by the time i got to SF3 i only visited towns for repots. And i'm a 3142.

Since stats vary from person to person due to level and equip differences, my best advice for you is to bring your character to a good training map and just test it out. If you can go on average 15-20 mins without dying, you are fine.

Note that since popular party maps are limited to places like SF3 and Tech1/Tech4, you will get stronger and have more HP, while the monsters stay the same. So whereas you might have trouble early on surviving these monsters, the more you level the better you will do against them. On the other hand though, if you do reach enough AC to kill them in one shot, then more defense wouldn't hurt.

I got to a point where i could one hit kill some monsters without Gun booster, thats a convenience i enjoyed.
