Should I master Gun Booster? (Pure DA fox)

My Gun Booster is currently level10. Should I master it? I did the math and the AC increase from level 10 to master level is 3,75 at the cost of 3 TM points. Would that be worth it? I personally think it isn't. On the other hand, it's not like I could think of something better to invest the points in currently. Perhaps Lucky Seven? Will it make a significant impact on my leveling?
(In case you're wondering: my TM level is 62, with 4 spare points, Stone Strike and Sixth Sense both mastered, and Shuriken Master at level10).

Lately I've been kinda been regretting picking Gun Booster in general. I guess I'll get rid of it with a Master's Authority later on, but currently I'm not really in jeopardy TM point-wise, so I'll keep it for now...

I regret getting GB as well...what with all the myshop that gives da AND ac together making that 20 ac boost seem a lot smaller than it normally is. On the other hand...it's still a buff so you can't really complain.

Depends on how much you miss with out it.
If it's not very often, I'd delete it and get the Luck buffs instead? I don't know how much they'd benefit pure DA though.
I didn't get gun booster for my fox (yet, if I need it I will)so I don't know how much it buffs. But Aura of luck and Lucky 7 mastered give about 60% increase to luck when used together which is also an increased chance of critical hits and evasion. With 1st anniversary you get 10% more which is even better.
My fox's tm level is 72 and I have about an extra 5 or 6 points with Lucky 7 mastered, Stone Strike, Aura of Luck, Basic Detection, and 6th Sense at 10, and Armor Break at 1. If you do go with my suggestion you wouldn't have to worry about learning anything useful later on as you'll have enough points by the time you can.

My own 1144 DA fox had both Gun Booster and Aura of Luck. I can tell you this much: if the reason you got GB was to help you hit in PvP....you wasted a lot of points. You'll need more than just +20 AC to wack other players reliably. It's almost like the devs forgot about foxes when they created the PvP....especially when the default build they give is 2143 (poor AC growth).

They picked a lousy stat for hit rate of fox skills, plain and simple.

Against monsters though, I guess GB helps. Less misses with Stone Strike means faster kills. It's convenient. But then you gotta ask yourself if it's really worth 25 points. Do you really miss that much on monsters? After Revo, I doubt it.


Personally I deleted GB on my own DA fox. I have Aura of Luck mastered.....but I have no idea why. I really don't. With a DA build, Aura barely gives a LK boost worth 15 skill points. Unless of course I load up on high comp LK equips, which to me is ironic for my build.

Sure...maybe if my fox could even hit anything in PvP to begin with.
Gun Booster was definitely not enough to make that happen....


Idk, beyond SS, SM, 6S and L7......the rest of the fox skills are really optional. If you can find a decent use for a skill, it's your fox. Use what you want. But I can definitely tell you not every skill is useful or worth the skill points you blow on it.

if you're going to pvp and have LOTS of spare skill points, go for it

you'll be needing all the help you can get in hitting others as a fox
