| @^ - It's not a straightforward loss, I could say the sme for any middle-variation, like 3142, etc.
Simply put, you're always doubling or halving when going up/dpwn by one point, whether it seems that way or not (1->2->3->4 = x2 for each lvl of it rly, in base points).
Go pure AC, you will lag behind offensive gunners until level 60 or so, but around that point, you will get close, and the damage difference will be a bit more negligable. As for LK, you can get what you need from gears, without having to comp, so just make sure that the gear you get also has a decent amount of LK in it if you can. If you decide to just use MyShop sets, then you won't have to worry about it, since every 'Lion'(Gun) set has a bit of LK in it.
Also, so you know, the difference is really negligable on either side, but enough to make an impact. You can't say that the hp gained isn't a lot, or that the AC gained isn't a lot, because it's enough to make the builds a bit different, indeed.
Lvl 100 Lions, no equipment (All are PURE AC)
4141 - 99 AC 840 HP
3142 - 93 AC 1590 HP
2143 - 87 AC 2340 HP
1144 - 80 AC 3090 HP
As you can see there is a difference of 6(7) AC and 750 HP, between each build. Considering a lvl 70 MyShop set (Since there is no reason to upgrade again until lvl 130), you'd have +47 minimum AC with the Blaster Set, making those puny 6 points very slight.
Whereas you only pulll 240 HP from the pet, and no HP from anything else in the set. At around that level you'd probably still rely on a GMV for HP compounding, until you can get one of the very nice AC compoundable innerwears. The +1k~ HP you'd gain, make the 3142 build at least survivable, while the 4141 build will probably still be 1hkoed if hit (Since monsters can pop 2k~3k around that lvl if they crit or use a skill). Simply put, that's where the 3142 shines, in that it can take a majority of the skills at full HP, however that's about all. Where as with the 2143 build, you can take maybe 2~ hits, so using a skill isn't too much of a problem. When you go 1144 (You'd have 4k~5k HP), you can deal with even a bit more.
In this instance, HP will also delegate your training areas, since if you're 4141/3142, you'll probably be ko'd like crazy in the Machine Room, but can still survive Beaver's Swamp, you might end up staying there instead. Which might be a problem, since although it comes close to Machine Room, it's a lot bigger, and there are always quite a few others there. Parties are also pretty rare, but it's not like Machine Room 'easily' supports 6.
