What's a good build for AP fox?

I have a pure DA fox and i wanted to experiment with a power type fox is a 4114 build ok? and would i put all of my bonus points into AP or DX?

I may be a little biased, but there's no reason to pump AP/DX as a fox due to lack of amplification skills. Let me explain:

pure DA works on fox for a few reasons.
1. DA = damage for Stone Strike, Shuriken, landmine (a little), Explosives, etc. More DA = more Damage.
2. Foxes have Sixth Sense, a move which boosts DA by 45% = moar damage.

Going 4141 on a Fox (it's impossible to go 4114 as you've noted above) is feasible, but it's typical to pump LK I believe and rely on the LK to help you survive. Still, it's worth considering these points:
1. your damage will be crap... putting points into AP may give you more whack damage, but you have no/few skills to support that (your DA will be on par with that of a LK fox). PLUS, putting points into AP detracts from your survivability a lot. You already have a 1 in charm, and not putting points into LK (for block %, etc.) will hurt your survivability a lot. Even with good HP equips, you're still missing out on many, many sources of other stats (eg. you go 4141, load up on AP... you still need an HP shield, and probably a HP GMV or Pendant = sacrifice LK/DA/more AP)....
2. You have no way to amplify your damage dealing stats. When you start relying on AP/DX to deal damage, you must consider that NO fox skills (or lion skills, if you wanted to go hybrid) rely on AP or dX to deal more damage. (with the exception of sudden attack, and even that doesn't involve AP that much)


3. Essentially a Power melee type fox with pure AP would be like making a 4141 AP bunny, and then not getting any skills.

Why not put stats into skills that are useful for your class/your class's skills? It'll be much more effective. If you REALLY want to put points into AP/DX, it's suggested to get a power (or maybe a charm) type, as their skills synergize with those stats much better.
