Help with Fox 159+

Alright, so my problem here is that it's feeling worse and worse trying to level up as a Fox, I *love* Fox, and I love playing my Fox.. But my problem is really in finding a decent place to hunt..

My fox is now 3rd job, Thief Master, 159/148, full DA 2143, SS/SM/L7/6S/HC/LM are mastered, AoL/EE level 10, Invis Drill/Basic Detect 9, Item Detect/PoP/Hide/Armor Destructor all level 1 (was very unsatisfied with PoP x.x), 16 TM to spare... Not having any AC problem so I've never gotten Gun Booster. Also have 1st Anniv for LK

Equip is Smooth Hat/Shield with nearly min DA comps (Have Noxx hat, haven't put DA on it yet.), Noxx Wand (+18 DA), Peridot Guardian (+10 DA), Enigma Bracer (+15 DA), Noxx Cape (+1648 HP), GMV (+1410 HP), Bruce Lie SE/Noxx/Soulful Xeno available pets, used Noxx after 150, but got Bruce Lie SE with Pop Event and switched to him.

Buffed:
DA = 76+260 = 336
LK = 40+155 = 195
AP = 342+432 = 774
AC = 70+23 = 93
HP = 3660+4366 = 8026

However, with all that DA, I do only 5902 with SM (Big Needle), and 8381 with SS against Blue Salamanders in Tap1, making it a 2hit to kill.. Red Salamanders are so terrible I don't even try dealing with them as it usually involves dropping several EE mines, and with a busy Tap1, it's not even worth it to try Landmine/EE when I do -.- I have found EE/Landmine to be great against bosses, but in regular training they fail :X So basically questions in this thread are... Is there any place better than Tap1 for a 159/148 and above Fox to train at? Ice Dungeon is pretty terrible from what I'm aware lots of Physical resist/absorb in there correct? And then, the question of AP, how much AP would really be neccessary before using an elemental comped weapon is actually useful? And then what would be the best element to choose? I'm guessing Light with an Ultima Bracer & Light Stones being 30-40% but I don't want to do that unless I'm certain that my AP would be high enough to actually be worth it.. And then there's the question of possibly going 4141 DA so that I'd have more AP, as really my HP/DP right now aren't really terrible and I'm using Elixirs slowly..

So.. What's the opinions out there? Should I change anything in my equip/TM? Should I try out 4141 DA with an elemental attribute? Where is decent to train at?

Tech4 and Moths are your best bet

If not you can go back to SF3; that's what I did when I wasn't myshopped (at all)

I use SS and EE in Tech4 and all 1HKO which is helpful to kill the mobs with 1.5s/2s cooldown's.

The moths are okay to kill, but they are fewer and far between than even the Blue Salamanders, SF3 wasn't bad for me when I was killing with EE/SS it was simple and it worked, all hits were OHKO (well, it took a while to get them to the point of OHKO, but eventually it happened x.x)

It just seems that there's such a big gap between level 200 monsters and level 300 monsters, and the xp difference is.. ... well.. I honestly don't understand why people even move past certain areas like Yetis while in their 100s x.x The xp boost is very minimal isn't it? Only TM is really benefitting, and even then, not *too* much more, right? And TM is being less and less needed.. 16 spare TM at 148 *shrugs*

I usually trained at SF3 until late 17x, since that's when everyone and their mom can't bridge you. It's easier to train there than other maps due to the Explosives and Landmine combo in yetis. You have the DA to ohko Iciclers with SS, so go there if you feel like you want more TM and it's not very crowded.

..Otherwise, Tech4 is a safe bet. You can combo kill(SS + SM, mines when you have mobs + no one around.) everything in there, thus making the exp not too shabby(just watch out for morons KSing everything).
