Shooting without the monster attacking

There is a technique in which you can shoot a monster without having it attack back. Of course, this doesn't apply to aggressive monsters (super golden moles, mimics, swamp sharks, etc) so try this:

X------M1-----M2

X= Lion (you)
M1, M2= Monsters 1 and 2

If you attack a non-aggressive monster with a monster in between you two (shooting M2) it will not reply back. This may not work with all monsters, but you should try it yourself. No video provided >.> This should work with power shot too.

only applies to long range like you. and i think its not a technique... maybe its because you are not in the range of the monster that is why its not attacking you.

It is not a technique.
The monster doesn't attack you because you aren't in it's range. If you were in it's range then it would attack back.

It only applies to those who are ranged though.
