Switch Points to LK?

I'm a Scientist already at level 215 (2143 Build). I've been adding all points into AC.

I'm thinking I should switch and put all points into LK now?

Wearing all LK equips (with gun), I can probably only score 29x currently, and if I go all AC equips, it goes down to like 15x-16x.

Especially with the new Scientist skills about to be released and one is adding Gun AP, switchin to LK seems like something better to do? Good idea?

im 1144 and I'd switch to Pure LK if I had the chance.

IMO, having tons of Gun AP and AC is pretty much useless in GVG/PVP unless you have tons of LK to support it.

not really, its too late for it to do anything unless you plan on being 3xx anytime soon.
if you go full LK it will take 2 levels to get 1 point of LK. thats a difference of 15 LK points in 30 levels :/ which will put you at 245 and 320-ish LK.

my advice is to get a full LK set, and have a person with aura in your gvg/pvp party

i wouldn't base your decision solely on the new skill that "adds ap". I've heard it might be the one that adds range to your gun.

At any rate, you should find yourself some super hax ac gear if you wanna go pure lk. It's really more of your gears then build, as I've found. Or just get some really good luck gears to compensate for your pure ac build and you can keep your good damage while maintaining a good hit rate. lmao, or you could get keen sense, get all ac gears and get REALLY good at timed crits.

EDIT: Not bragging just proving that it's your gears, not build. I'm a 98% AC lion (Level 207 with about 14 levels in luck) And I can get like 46x luck with 320-ish ac.

AC is important too.

Any gunner needs to balance their AC/LK well, and have (if you can afford it lulz) two sets of equips for different opponents. LK for mages/other Sense types, and AC for Charms/Powers.

You don't need LK when facing these types of people, only AC to counter their HV, so think about that too.

Lions (even pures) can easily out-LK mages in my opinion, or just be able to kill them faster. So your only worry will be hybrids and maybe foxes. But here's the catching: going pure LK inevitably nerfs your AC, leading to weaker damage on buffalos/bunnies/coons/cats, not to mention tank mages.

Is it really worth it? I'm not so sure.

I'm a 2:1 MA:LK mage, but that's because I'm a mage... I need the LK for a wide range of opponents, and only very little MA to kill Powers/disable Charms.

I have enough AC, and when I hit things, IF I hit things, I do more than enough damage. I can easly top 300 AC, so AC was never a problem, and the new skill IS Gun AP. So boosting damage isn't a problem. Its just trying to hit people.

But out of the eight classes, how many of them can you actually hit and how many can you not? How close your AC comes to allowing DS to ohko is also a factor.

Bunny/Buffalo = loldeath. Doesn't even matter right now cause they can just own me.

Sheep/Dragon = Can barely hit em unless they're go pure MA, which they don't when fighting a Lion, aka me.

Lion/Fox = Can't hit them for the life of me, especially hybrids, unless they have less LK than me, which is few.

Racoon/Cat = I switch to my all AC suit, which allows me to damage them. Plus I have Shield Breaker, and Sticky Foot. Only tougher with Coons as they're more likely to be pure HV, especially with Meta.

Not so nice eqs..I recommend just making a better luck set. If you have extra Fedoras, temp em and make a LK hat. For accesories..temp a Love chain and comp LK on it. For your 2nd accs, invest in a MMBEX @_@;

Yush what he said. And I suggest using Tau over Robin for fighting luck battles. Crap hp but the mix of ac/lk makes up for it.
