Starting a Lion

Ok well i just started a lion 2143 build and im level 8.
what skills should i add up from my level now to 100?

my stone strike is level 5 now.
What do i add after this?
what skills should i get?
please give me what skills i should get and if i max them or not.

You should get:

1st Job.
Stone Strike level 10.
Gun Carrier.
Gun Booster - Master
Invincible Reload.
Armor Destructor level 1.
Quick Reload.
Luck Seven Master.


2nd:

Power Shot Master
Shotting Spree Master


That's all till level 100, I think. ^^

Here's how the usual starter lion does his jig:
1. The Basic Three: Gun Carrier, Invinsible/Quick Reload, and mastered Gun Booster (25 TM)
2. Gun Skills (2nd job): PowerShot, ShootingSpree, DoubleShot
3. "Optional" interspersed in between: Lucky 7, Basic Detect, Heavy Carrier, pre-req skills, etc

Personally, I'd recommend starting out as a non-lion. By that, I mean get Stone Strike to lv10, wear DA equip (while pumping points into either AC and/or LK), and level like a fox as a melee lion until you get to 2nd job. It's really tough to level as a gunner without spamming PS/SS/DS. After 2nd job, get all of the skills I listed above, and become a skill-spamming gunner.

In any case, you will need lv10 stone strike anyway to learn Lucky 7, which is main skill buff. It increases your LK, which equates to higher gun damage accuracy, blocks, and magic evasion.

L7 is a must whatever build you go

Get strike at 5 during first job, then all gun skills available to you.

Then get powershot rightaway (i put off grinding for a day to conentrate on my TM because at this point TM is harder to lvl).

After that it's either spree or L7. I'd get Spree first tho, since it'll help you more and L7 has pre reqs. Unless you plan on pvping early on (?!?)

Booster and powershot is mastered. Spree and L7 idk yet, but L7 most likely specially if you go scientist since aura of luck is unavailable to you and you WILL need all the luck you can get.

Then move on to DS, etc etc. Only til 100, right? Getting all those skills will keep you occupied enough to put off worrying about later;o

well as a gunner lion u start off at TM 5 with gun carrier, then u get stone strike to 5 (TM 10) and at TM 15 get invincible reload. After that save ur TM from 15-30 for gun booster (learn and master that). Then, From TM 31 u can either do one of 4 things depending on ur priorities in leveling: 1.) u want to stop missing. So u save up for Armor destructor and quick reload at TM40. then at TM 50 u learn one of the best buffs in this game Lucky 7's.
2.) u like to loot the day away (and ur exp) so u learn and master or lvl 10 Heavy carrier(bright side if u go hybrid pouch of pains prereq is already meet) 3.) u can choose to be a pro at drilling and learn basic detection and sixth sense. or 4.) Say screw you all and save from TM 31 and only get quick reload and powershot at TM 55. either way u choose has it ups and downs. from TM 55 u save until TM 70 when u get Shooting spree if u do that u should have it learned and mastered and if u took the 4th route ull have plenty of TM left. Then after that the next gun skill u get is Double Shot at TM 115 and Bam!! your done. Take the path that's best for you 2nd job lions and scientist are normally done by TM 175 and cybers are done around TM 220-225 so plan depending on ur 3rd job plans. Good Luck!!

Sorry for the Double Post please dont keel me but with is comment all is right and im sure its a simple faux paw on Catharsis' part but LK does equal gun hit rate Block rate and magic Evasion.... However it does not equated to gun damage thats Accuracy's jurisdiction.
