heavy carrier to master?

Im currently lv 110 with tm 95 and a pure DA 1144 fox. And i got heavy carrier to lv 10, i was just thinking should i master it, master basic detection, and item detector? Or should i just master one of them and put 10 points into item detector and wait save tm for my pure skills?

Honestly, with 90+ DA, the drilling skills wont be much help.

And I can guarantee that you have more than 90 DA.

you can master heavy carrier if you want you have more room for throwing items and pots...but like fuzzy lumpkins says...basically dont worry about mastering item detector and basic detection...those arent really needed...unless you are a digging fox and you really dont wanna waste drills that much then just leave them at 10..but if i could get myshop i would delete the 2 and master heavy carrier but thats just my opinion

i tryed out item detector before, i didnt enjoy the "fail to discern" message. I do have over 90 da so i guess i wont be needing it then. Guess i better save up for explosive mastery . Thanks

item dectector saves time and drills when harkon hunting/drilling so i would keep it but basic detction i would forget also heavy carrier is a great skill to have put unless ur going to learn pouch o pain i would keep it level 10 for now and save up for your pure skills.

ID>BD >_> In my opinion even if ID fails sometimes and has a long Cool Down time it still beats BD in the long run. BD is for shallow areas where event digging and simple quest digging is most needed. ID is for making cash at deep digs.

Its in the wiki's formula, ID's depth depends on its skill lvl and DA.

so if my DA is 400 with buffs.. and my skill is mastered (9 ratio)..

the depth would be 3600?

Forgot to mention how unreliable/hard to understand the formulas on the wiki are, because 3600 is definately not right. Im no expert on this skill either, so im guessing its 90% of your total DA, so your ratio=.90

D< Flipy you nutcase it doesn't take like 400 DA to see that deep. Hell I've got 90 DA and I can see in the Tant/Opal mines lol. Dunno how the skill works, but it's high depth when you master the skill.

its been through exp that there is no "max depth w/ ID" but instead its the number of items it shows and the number of times it screws up aka *failed to disern* bc i talked w/ a 135 driller fox and she said that ID is a ton better once u get it to lvl 10 in which there's almost no *failed to diserns* and it covers a big area for drillage ^^
